It's been awhile since I did that portion but I believe it was solved by using a skyportal? { "classname" "misc_skyportal" "origin" "2736 2416 1896" "angle" "90" } I went by this tutorial: https://jkhub.org/tutorials/mapping/ent-modding-misc_bsp-fixing-blurred-hom-skybox-r122/ It works fine on basejka and ja+ from what I've seen, maybe Lugormod messes with that entity in the code or something.

Which folder did you find the crashlog file in? That error means it isn’t finding the assets0-3.pk3 files in the base folder. Those paths in the crash log look correct but I can’t tell if you’re also launching the jaenhanced.exe from there - you should be. I also see you are using OneDrive which could be causing problems. Take a look at this: And this as a way to double check you’re getting the paths right if the above doesn’t help:
-
Why not run the native Linux version? Proton only works with verified games and running a non verified .exe is probably why its giving an error. Linux OpenJO is here: https://github.com/JACoders/OpenJK/releases/download/latest/OpenJO-linux-x86_64.tar.gz

Installing via Proton is how you get the assets, but are you running OpenJO to actually launch the game?

What’s the exact error message? Is there a log file anywhere in /Application Support/OpenJK/ ?

NetRadiant fails to load imported model's textures
Circa replied to jo_the_rooster's topic in Modding Assistance
Do they need to show up? I have this problem all the time when mapping but as long as it loads the model you can still move it as normal and the textures load in the game itself just fine then it's not a big deal usually. -

Struggling to install OpenJO on MX Linux

Just to be super clear and double checking, this file is in that exact folder? So it's there but it thinks it isn't? -

Did you try installing libjpeg through Homebrew? Should just be brew install libjpeg or brew install jpeg -

If you're on a 64bit OS, brew installs 64bit versions of libraries by default. This will probably be solved by downloading the x86_64 version of OpenJO instead of x86. Should be found on the OpenJK releases page which is where I hope you downloaded from before. I also noticed the error mentions libjpeg which may be its own library that is needed installed via brew, I'm not certain though. -

Back in January we announced a new mod contest: maps built for the Duel gamemode. These maps are typically smaller with a central dueling area. The deadline to submit was 6 weeks later on February 23rd, when then the poll was open to any forum member to vote on which they thought was the best map. Due to a great turnout with the number of submissions, I decided to award the top 3 voted maps with a Gold, Silver, and Bronze award. THE WINNERS ARE... 1ST PLACE @Reepray with Rishi Station 2 2ND PLACE @chloe with Oasis Mesa 3RD PLACE @Artemis with TFFA Brutal Congrats to the winners, your work was astounding! However, huge shoutout to all submissions because seriously, they were all astounding. It was a very hard decision to pick just one to vote for. Very well done. This contest had a much better turnout than I expected. You guys are awesome, thanks for making all of this worthwhile and keeping the JK modding scene alive and well!
