  1. If you want that exact oufit done you should gather references and make them available for whoever takes the job.
  2. That Kit Fisto head mesh needs a serious update.
  3. Just grab the player models and add a ghost shader, do a search in JKHub's files section, you'll find what you need. Pk3 files can be opened like zip files. Once you find a ghost skin, look for a .shader file in the .pk3. I think someone made a bunch of them ghost skins recently too so you'll have no problem figuring it out.
  4. Import .obj in a package that supports .md3 and export. You said each model as a default texture and then ask about the texture they all share?? Does that mean some of them have unique textures and additional parts shared (live leaves or something)?
  5. If you use blender you can reimport weights so it should be quite easy to fix.
  6. If it's a hierarchy issue then you need to import it back and link it the way you want it to behave.
  7. You trippin'! texturing a head to turn it into a helmet would look horrific!
  8. @ Nicotine Caffeine Maybe try these? http://jkhub.org/topic/5696-psyk0siths-darth-malgus-update-addon/ Or do you mean in general he talks a lot of gibberish?
  9. A Gloss map is a greyscale map that describes the roughness of a surface, i.e it's Glossiness, and controls the width of the specular highlight, where a Specular Map controls the intensity (and colour if a coloured Specular Map is used). I don't think JA has support for gloss maps.
  10. Software that prints a flattened 3d model, you then fold and glue along strategic lines to recreate your model as a paper sculpture. I've had my share of requests from costume builders that wanted to "print" my iron monger model as a full suit! O.o
  11. Your questions sounded workflow related. When you should've asked "how do i learn shader code?" That's your problem right there.
  12. Notepad, some text editor or the shader editor that ships with the sdk tools.
  13. You edit/create or remove .shader files. Just don't touch the original ones in the game's .pk3. Instead create a new .pk3 with the same path and it should be used instead of originals.
  14. @@the_raven That's because they have to be, the skeleton is locked to 1 scale only. They do work fine as NPC.
  15. Kylo Ren proposed updates for the sounds, i said i would release a version with his new audio after completing the files cleanup and sorting, but since i had a major windows crash it wasn't a top priority.
  16. A High poly bake cuts down serious time on the texturing part, all the grunt work is done, all you have to do is make it look good, change color scheme etc...but yeah your call
  17. Isn't there already a game called LEGO starwars???
  18. @@Archangel35757 I would be using a ghost image so it's just a matter of minutes before everything is back to normal and then reconfig / install a few tools. The problem is pretty severe, windows won't load any freaking services, except basic ones + antivirus and firewall, when trying to manually restart them, the option is not even available but wait it gets worse! The stupid thing was making BSOD repeatedly before i went in and started diagnosing startup services, when i loaded default config, no more BSOD (there was an error message about not being able to stop a certain service). It's a major meltdown. I'll give the tool a shot but i don't usually trust those things, ghosting fixes everything!
  19. It's a possibility. I'm having OS problems so i'll have to restore and reinstall a few tools, gotta love windows breaking itself.
  20. It has nothing to do with skills, it's just clicking buttons and learning workflow / software, it's the most basic stuff.
