    Hello

    Welcome to JKHub!
  2. Does @@Langerd use Blender? His animations for his Wall-E looked great.
  3. It's part of the story to lose that battle. Since he fails, it makes him go back to learn how to use the Force again at the Valley of the Jedi and Yavin. It's scripted so Desann is literally invincible in that mission. So you can shoot him all you want, but nothing is going to happen. Would you really want the game to end there? Desann dead, Tavion dead, Jan safe, roll credits?
  4. Here you go: https://jkhub.org/files/file/2954-wookiee-voices/ I didn't test everything, so let me know if any of the lines give you errors.

    Wookiee Voices

    1,080 downloads

This is a single player mod that replaces all of Jaden's lines with Wookiee lines. The point of it is if you wanted to play as a Wookiee, this will improve immersion by not allowing the Wookiee to speak Basic, which isn't possible for a Wookiee. If you're planning on playing SP as a Wookiee, you'll need this. It replaces male and female. Use with mods such as these: https://jkhub.org/files/file/1801-%7B%3F%7D/ https://jkhub.org/files/file/623-%7B%3F%7D/ To see what the player is saying outside of cutscenes, open the console (SHIFT + ~) and type g_subtitles 1 -=========- I went through each voice line and tried to match the mood and inflection as best as I could. There are only so many Wookiee lines that we have access to, so I'm sure some of them will get old after awhile. Honestly though, it's better than the default male Jaden voice. If you're not playing as a Wookiee, remove this mod. It's an all or nothing deal.
  6. Would people be interested in a mod that replaces male Jaden's voice with a new one? My roommate is a pretty good voice actor.

I would. :) The one Lucasarts got was pretty much alright for the human mercs, but for Jaden himself, it was bland.

Could do both. Either he could or I could do one as well. This would be part of JKE, and would also include dialogue changes in some cases.

  7. Fair enough. The article isn't meant to highlight that their server is the biggest and baddest server of them all though. Its a clan feature.
  8. The only external services we rely on is Dropbox for files, and that has nothing to do with loading the website. If you have issues with that, it would only be from downloading files. We use Dropbox because it's a nice system for hosting files and allows easy backups to PC, and a few other features. We definitely do not use WordPress. If you're referring to the CMS that we use, it's Invision Power Services, or IP.Board. And it's completely hosted on one server. The issue is that JKHub is getting rather large, and our automatic backup system is getting tripped up somehow because of that. If you have the issue again, post here or PM me.
  9. JoF definitely takes the cake for most active server for the past couple of years. It's consistently at the top if you filter by players, usually around 12-15 actual players, but very often has about 20-25. That's not the case as often for servers such as KR, JAWA, or other popular ones. Not saying they aren't active or as popular, but I'm talking mostly about active players on a consistent basis.
  10. Definitely having the same issues, as is everyone else. Very strange, and we'll hopefully get it sorted soon. Its just as frustrating for us as it is for the rest of you, so I'm hoping it can be resolved quickly.
  11. If its one length using single and then changes when you use duals, then that's not going to be fixed in a .sab file, if that truly is the issue.
  12. It will replace all of Jaden's lines. But if you're playing as a Human or other species, it'll still sound like a Wookiee, as long as the pk3 is in your base folder. So if you plan on doing that, just remove it from your base folder. Otherwise, you'll be fully Wookiee. I started working on it. It'll take a bit, since there are over 200 lines to replace.
  13. Explored the temple with @@MagSul today on my server and discussed various possibilities for it. I think the main take-away was that we don't want the temple to feel empty or pointless. It should be full of NPCs: some familiar, some new; possible conversations with those NPC's and possible missions that they give you to complete around the temple (find parts for an astromech droid for the maintenance crew or something simple like that. Like Mag said above, have challenges and little bonus things you can do. But then also the hub where you start your missions and change your loadout/saber/outfit/force. We can even have a couple main missions take place on that map before you get assigned Tier 1. Maybe a detective style mission where you go around talking to people about the break-in (Alora stealing files) and find out more info on the intruder. The map itself is basically the one that we see in JK2 and JKA, but looks even better and it feels great to explore. I think the main idea of this mod is to put the "Academy" in Jedi Academy, and this map and concept is going to help achieve that greatly.
  14. Revised might be better. Some people would think that it's a remaster if we use certain terms, which we don't want. This is improving the game and story, not improving graphics, and the name should reflect that to avoid confusion. I believe that's what the other JK: Enhanced mods are doing, which also causes confusion.
  15. Ha. This is something I had considered doing awhile back. Would be pretty easy, but take a lot of time. I may consider doing it for you.
  16. Would love to see it submitted here on JKH for more people to see and use. Really simple concept that would be really helpful!
  17. I'd rather just have a 1.0 release that's as stable as possible on all OSes. As a player, I don't even care about having the latest release unless there's a bug I know was fixed or something. I update it maybe once a year. Right now it's easy enough to just download from the builds site and throw it in the right folder once a year. If there was some kind of "Check For Updates" feature and download an updated version, that would be even better and more useful.
  18. As in, for each tier, you mean? Makes sense, but still would make the temple map feel less needed.
  19. You can now provide your Discord username in your profile.

  20. For sure. You'd view your datapad to see what your objective is, just like in a normal level. It would force you to explore the entirety of the temple as well, and not just stick to the mission launch area(s).
  21. @@CommanderAkio JKE isn' technically released yet anyway. Just the code changes are in alpha and were released. Try the RP Mod animations below. I'll warn you though, without the (hopefully) upcoming fix in JK:E, they will look strange due to the bottom half of the animations use the legs from the normal standing animation. http://circa.im/files/jka/RPMod_Animations.pk3
  22. @@MagSul showed me his map, which would be perfect for what we're wanting. It's based on the temple map in JK2, but looks much nicer, and has some added elements to make it feel more complete. I think removing some of the RPG elements of the game would be for the best, as I think they were half-assed in the first place. I just am not sure how the community would react to such a big decision. I'm talking things like making the closest version of Jaden Korr as the old canon version of him was (brown haired white human male) as the player, removing all species customization. Instead do some kind of outfit designer that you could change before venturing out from the temple. You're right though, it wouldnt really be linear if you were still choosing the missions in the temple. However, there a few ways we could do this. The temple is the central hub. It acts as the vanilla mission select, except you go to a specific section of the map to get to the tier that you're on, then within that section there are either rooms for each mission, or objects/vehicles that begin the specific mission. Brings up a short briefing for the mission and asks TRAVEL or STEP AWAY. The temple is the central hub. In order to continue the story, you have to find the right person to talk to, depending on the mission. This would be determined by what it was in the vanilla menu. Find Luke in his chambers for his missions, find Kyle in the hangar working on the Raven's Claw, find C-3PO in a briefing room, etc etc. Would be more with new missions, like Rosh or Jan. Same as above, except you just go to your ship each time you want to progress with the story. Now, to make the temple even more of an addition to the game, the force selection menu and weapons menu can be implemented. To select your loadout, go to the armory. It updates for the next mission. If you don't change it, the loadout stays the same as it was in the last mission. To spend your force points, either talk to Luke, Kyle, or a Jedi Master in the temple to spend your force points. Similar to SWTOR. It's as if they're teaching you the power. Could give Luke the light side powers, Kyle the dark side, to make a little more sense.
  23. Hopefully sometime 2017.
  24. Only when we upgrade the forum software, assuming XenForo will implement it. Ironically, I requested them to include that feature in IPS 4.0 and they denied at first. Now it has it.
  25. No. But I added a link in the forum description. That thread is now pinned as well.
