It is an open beta. It’s only closed for the first two days. In my opinion, all beta programs should be closed to deter the people that think it’s sinplg a demo of the full game. The point is to give constructive feedback on bugs that you find in the beta. Obviously beta programs are mostly seen as demos nowadays because they are now preorder bonuses and such, which is both a win and a lose for the devs. They get more people playing the beta allowing them to stress test but they also get more people complaining about bugs and spread bad press about the game. Imagine that. Bugs. In a beta. (My attitude on this is stemming from the COD WWII beta weekends, only just assuming this beta experience will be the same)

Wait, so we just happened to play the same lobby? I know the playerbase on Xbox was pretty low now but wow. Aren't we on the opposite side of the planet? xD And yeah, those were some pretty good matches, if I recall. Got to level 100 on the first game a couple weeks ago. Posting here because I completely lost the old thread. Anyone else get to max level or plan to before the sequel releases?

Hello! I'm using the pumpkin emoji, so you know what that means! It's October and due to popular demand, the Halloween Mod Contest has made a return this year! If you weren't around last year for the contest, you can take a look at the initial thread here, and the winners here. This contest's rules will be the same as last time. All submissions must be Halloween-themed (so scary, spooky, frightening, etc.)You can only enter your own creations. You may enter more than one file.Already existing files cannot be submitted. The goal is to encourage new creations!Any content is welcome, including skins, models, maps, weapons, menu mods, etc. Just make sure it abides by the rules.Files can be for Jedi Academy and/or Jedi Outcast. We will assume files are for JKA unless specified otherwise. The deadline for submitting content is October 23, 2017.The poll will be closed by October 30, 2017.On the 23rd, we will close submissions. All members will be able to vote for their favorite file. The submission(s) with the most votes will be declared the winner(s). (We will announce how many winners exactly when we see how many submissions we have.) How do I submit my mod? Our goal is to make it as simple as possible for both you guys and us. The way you submit your file for this contest is to upload them as normal files in our file section, but using a new category called Contest Entries. So go to this link, and submit your mod as you normally would. The category should be set to Halloween 2017 already. If you don't enter it there, your file won't be entered until you do. If you realize that you didn't do that, PM a staff member and we can change it for you. How do I vote? On the 24th, we will post a poll that all members can vote in. It will be featured in the Latest Poll area on the front page, as well as the usual forum for polls. You may only vote once. Polls will be displayed publicly, to avoid voting fraud. (Happens every time, shame on you) All entries will be listed here as they come rolling in. If you need inspiration, take a look at all the past entries here. Some really awesome stuff was made last year! Good luck and have fun making sp00ky stuff! Submit file to Halloween Mod Contest 2017 Current Submissions Click here to view the article

We are starting a new poll series called Epic Matchup. No, this isn't a dating game. It is a chance for ya'll to debate on who would win between these two characters. Use logic and knowledge of Star Wars lore to back up your choice, when necessary. Keep in mind the characters' abilities and personalities that we are aware of through the media they are featured in. Obviously some of these apply to the EU/Legends canon. Assume these characters are in their prime age, power, ability, etc. unless stated otherwise. First round naturally features our lord and savior Kyle Katarn, pit against the beloved Luke Skywalker. and GO.

GtkRadiant 1.6.4 on Windows 10 Tech Preview
Circa replied to Kessno's topic in Jedi Knight Tech Support
You probably need to install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 It's linked to that on the GTK download page. -
RGB = Red Green Blue The higher the first number is, the more red it will contain, 2nd number will be how much green, etc. I'm not sure how the EFX file works, but I'm fairly certain the first 3 decimel numbers correspond with those colors. Not sure what the other numbers are. Been awhile since I've messed with that. @@JAWSFreelao you could also try to find a mod or file in the game that has a similar color you want. For example, the E-11 effects are red already. The bowcaster effects are green. For blue you could look at @@AshuraDX's clone blaster. https://jkhub.org/files/file/2893-ashuras-dc-15s-blaster-carbine/

Indeed.

Did you change the RGB value of the effect in the .efx files?

There are other mods like JA++ or JA+?
Circa replied to Davidino's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
Oh I think I misunderstood your question. Sorry. You want the feature of JA+ that simply makes other players disappear when you are dueling someone, correct? -

https://jkhub.org/files/file/3243-%7B%3F%7D/ That is my main complaint with basejka as well, so I added it. -
Open up Modview and search for it yourself. That’s what anyone that would help you is gonna do anyway. Make sure you don’t have Shift also bound to autorun toggle. Also, don’t expect immediate answers on a forum. It was 3am here in the US when you posted this. Give people time to see your post before begging in a double post.

.tga Quality Loss On Character Portrait(Icon_Default)
Circa replied to Arth's topic in Modding Assistance
Why not just make it the proper size of 128x128 px? You are never going to see it larger than that, afaik -
