  1. Right but I was saying Audacity can do it out of the box. You just have to split the channels to mono first and delete one, if it doesn't save as true mono the first time.
  2. I think that's what Audacity tries to do. But doesn't actually do it. Ends up doing Joint Stereo or something silly. Or basically muxes into a stereo file instead of mono.
  3. Those issues are pointing to the fact that your server is in fact not running JA++ but rater just basejka. You can confirm this further if your pk3s are in the japlus folder, hence not being loaded.
  4. If it had 2 channels before then it wasn't mono. That's literally what mono means: one channel. For some reason Audacity is stupid and doesn't list a file as stereo when it should. You should just go by the fact that you have 2 channels, not what it says. If you have two channels, split them both to mono and delete one. Then save as mono and all is well.
  5. I would assume also busy with other matters as well? I don't really know. All of our development on this mod is shown in this forum, so you know just as much as I do.
  6. Well I'm sure it would be a much loved model if you released it. That is, if you aren't using it for your portfolio anymore.

  8. This mod has definitely halted development recently, but I've been needing to contribute to my game audio portfolio and this is potentially a good way to do that. My plans for audio related work in this mod was mostly related to re-working the Jaden and Rosh characters completely, so the former isn't as stiff and boring and the latter isn't as annoying and cringe-inducing. I think there could be other things done to the game, but I'm curious what some of you people think. When you think of the audio of Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy, what do you immediately wish was better? (voice acting, weapons, environment, etc.) For what I'm able to do is mostly the audio capture, editing, and mixing. If there's any coding involved I'm not sure I'd be able to implement anything like that without help from those more knowledgeable about that. Let me know your thoughts.

I don't understand what the screenshot is supposed to be showing. Or the issue, exactly. Each LOD is supposed to be less quality with each number.
  13. The issue is the animations. They are made for larger weapons, so if you scale it properly, the left hand of playermodels will be too far forward as if they are holding the air in front of the muzzle or the muzzle itself.
  14. I kinda figured that. Our search function is pretty terrible, so if you searched "e-11" you probably got no results at all. I searched "blaster" and it was there. Sorry about that. Searching will be better soon when we upgrade the forum. Would love to see other blasters for the OT seen in Battlefront though. The Relby is one of my favorite guns from the game. Would love to see that in JKA.

    Idiot Needs Help!

    What UI error? Switching from basejka to OpenJK means you also have to use the other japlus folder. So instead of GameData/japlus it'll probably be /Documents/My Games/OpenJK/japlus. Make sure everything is in that japlus folder instead of the base one. OpenJK basically allows you to have a second base folder, both of which are used when launching the game. But anything in GameData is not used, but rather the one used in the OpenJK folder are. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Seems like you have JA++ assets but not the other important things. You put everything in the japlus folder, right?
  20. Heh. That's one method. There's an empty.md3 in models/weapons2/ I believe.
  21. is it a .ibi script? If so just remove that from the pk3. No mapping involved. You'll probably just get an error in the console when it tries to use it.
  22. Maybe its just a temporary bug in a recent update in Firefox that will be fixed soon? It worked fine up until last week.
