This mod simply disables the Hoth gear change in single player. Normally when hoth2 loads, the script sets the player to use torso_g1 and lower_e1.skin files, which in vanilla skins is the Hoth snow outfit. If you use mods that don't include support for that, it can be annoying to go fix yourself when playing the Hoth levels. This should fix that problem, frostbite be damned.
  2. Why not? It looks great and I don't think one exists from someone else yet.
  3. Is it possible you have an antivirus that is quarantining it by mistake? You can open the .zip file and see the jaenhanced.x86.exe in there. It must be getting removed by an AV when you extract or copy and paste it.
  4. No, it is not compatible with those mods. You need to open the saber file with Notepad and use the first line before the brackets.
  5. Either would work but enhanced would be best. You may need to rename the included one to not have the zZz_ in the name but that may not matter.
  6. The best way to find the name of the saber is to open the pk3 file up either in Pakscape or rename it to .zip and open like a zip. The code is in ext_data/sabers/ and then whatever the saber file is. If you want to venture deeper into learning the basics of how mods are made, start here. If you are referring to the lightsabers we inlcude with JAEnhanced, you are correct, we don't include them all because the menu only supports the number of hilts we included. You can download the full version here if you want them all.
  7. Most mods would have the command needed in their readme file or page description. Without knowing which ones you are referring to I can't really say much more than that. Let me know which ones and I can help you out.
  8. I assume by Anakin robes you mean the ones included with JAEnhanced for the default Jaden heads. In that case you would just use the default player tint commands that were already in the game. The extra commands were to be used for certain shader stages made for it, from what I understand. Try the command playertint R G B
  9. AI voices still make me feel odd but this was really well done, nice work! And a great use of my map!
  10. Keep the texture files in the single_1 folder and the model.glm in the new folder you made.
  11. Check out the OCEJK group, they've got a decent chunk of players from what I hear.
  12. Perhaps the “containing NPCs” tagged files may have it listed? https://jkhub.org/tags/containing npcs/
  13. I will always vote against AI voice generation, many voice actors take that quite seriously and your content could face legal issues if you go that route. They aren’t being paid for the work you are creating. At the very least I’d be more impressed if you used the radio drama, I didn’t know that was a thing.
  14. Technically not true, I've experimented with Telegram a bit and they have a group feature that lets you have multiple channels just like Discord (just a lot more simple). I created one out of curiosity and as a potential backup of a backup in case anything happened to Discord. I'm shocked that Telegram even works on XP, I wonder how long that will last. Unfortunately the JK community is already fragmented too much as it is, I would only want to promote a Telegram if Discord went away or people started to leave it for whatever reason.
  15. This is awesome, would be a fun and chaotic CTF map!
  16. It is clear this is a sensitive matter between Willemoes and JoF. We try to keep a very neutral stance around here and only censor personal attacks and hatred. None of the original post contains any of that, and yet replies and PM’s to Willemoes definitely have. We have hidden those and are locking this thread. we have no means or reasoning to investigate this enough to take a side. All we can do is provide a method of communication but only if it remains civil and is relevant to the public. He spoke his mind and any further discourse can happen privately if he wants it to be. Any PMs sent that he reports will also be dealt with. If any JoF members read his post and were hurt or offended and turn around and be vile and toxic to him in response, you are painting the worse picture here and proving him right. If none of it is true, prove it. Threatening his life is absolutely not tolerated.
These types of maps are my absolute favorite to see because not only are they well crafted but they allow for story telling and fit in with Raven's original design language extremely well. This looks like it could be straight out of the SP missions, but made for the enjoyment of MP. Definitely going in my collection and server. Amazing work!
  17. JK2 doesn't natively support it, only mods would support it like JK2MV, at least that's how it is in JKA. What mod client are you running and what is the server running? I just tried it on my end using JK2MV. /set name ^0Circa and connected to a random server and my name was black.
  18. We've been considering hosting DF2 mods lately, would love to see this end up on here if that happens! Looking good!
  19. Most other Darth Vader NPCs that people have made do this with the lightsaber hum looping sound. Maybe someone else knows of a better way but I think this may be the way to go.

This is a concept version of Darth Revan that I came up with years ago. Revan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters (pre-SWTOR) and loved the way he looked in the KOTOR cinematics, but when you see his ingame model, he looks very strange to me. I remember first playing KOTOR as a kid and thinking this was more how he would have looked like. No dress, simpler armor, etc. It has SP menu support, NPC support (npc spawn revan_c), basic team support. -======================- -!|!- KNOWN BUGS -!|!- -======================- Clipping is inevitable, and I did not make proper LODs so those might have issues. -====================- -!|!- CREDITS -!|!- -====================- Credit to Almightygir for the head and hood meshes and textures, and Hapslash/Spanki for the rest. Taunt sound from KOTOR (player character), credit to Bioware. -========================- -!|!- INSTALLATION -!|!- -========================- Put the pk3 in the base folder of your Jedi Academy GameData directory (Jedi Academy/Gamedata/base)
  21. I made this like 15 years ago so I can't remember if it also works in MP. I originally made it for SP but not sure if it's the same effect in both.
  22. The setting you are showing in the code is for the menu itself, did you turn that setting to "No" and it still isn't working?
  23. I deleted the mod page years ago due to it having a bunch of issues that other mods had already done better. You can still download it here though: https://files.jkhub.org/jka/bundles/JK2Restoration.zip
