Probably a stupid question, but can I throw this into unity? Of so how?

You could convert the glm game model into something unity understands. You would need pakscape or a pk3 registry that let's you get the model and textures out.

Bro what are the non-base maps you took the screenies in, they look dope, must know! Great job on the droids!

I am so glad someone appreciated my artistry, haha.
R5U2 is on a custom landing bay map I had made that's designed to look as if its part of Rannon Praxeum.
R5C4 and R5U3 are on a version of Rannon Praxeum I retextured.
R5U1 is on a movie battles 2 map called "Cargo Heist"

  2. I'm not sure where ma'am is coming into play exactly, but I'm working on a Pyke Pack based on Jake Lunt Davies' unused concept art for Solo. There were three mask variations Phazzzer and I decided to work into the pack. While we were working on it, Davies' unused concept art for droids from other races also caught our eye and we decided to use the elements already created for the Pyke Pack to make this Pyke Protocol droid.

The concept art most directly responsible for this version comes from this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwIVkHpFJU-/

Awesome work! Dig the shaders used on it. What are the maps you used for the showcase pics, aside from the SD Siege one?

One is Imperial Fighter Bays available here:

The other is a personal landing bay from my film group that I'm on the fence about releasing.

You're right, Noodle did great with the shaders! I added the light trim down the interior edge of the wings but that was more of a copy paste job shader wise, lol.

This is a sick pack, the only problem is that there are no sounds in misc

I always seem to have problems with the bitrate for Jedi Academy when it comes to making taunts and things. Though if I ever make a version 2 with taunts, I'd have to go "Ahhhh, Jedi!" lol.

I love it. Kinda resembles T3-M4 from Knights of the Old Republic.

Seeing these makes me wish we had a L3-37 model. It's one of my favourite droids.

Yeah! It is interesting how it sort of came towards T3 in the end. I guess that's a natural droid design as well. I gave the 3D modeler more free reign on this one and said "these are the pieces I want to incorporate" and it came out with that sort of hybrid feel. I'm really happy with it.

Awesome! Although only the head mesh was changed, it's definitely superior to the standard model.

Indeed. What inspired me to even start doing these droid projects was the variety and adaptability of the textures Helena had in her original pack. By keeping the body/legs mesh as they were, I could take my own spin on things and play around with new textures and lights and shaders and things but get the head mesh updated to look more accurate and reflect advances in techniques. I think it really made for a good blend and I couldn't have done it without the great efforts of Helena, Phazzzer and Jeff.

I love this ,absolutely stunning work.

It was really fun to sort of design my own Pykes but the credit goes to Phazzzer for creating the models based on my input. It turned out phenomenal.

Hahaha, I couldn't even tell it was unfinished... I'm so glad you released it! I, too, am paranoid about you leaving, but thank you for releasing some great stuff regardless! I love the atmosphere, and the touches of Midgar and Atlantica were nice call backs.

  3. You know, this does highlight a theoretical issue about transparent pieces on player models. I'm glad you got it worked out! If the only bugs are cloaking and seeing it from behind, it still might work for what my hopes are one day! Thanks for working on this!
