My suggestion only refers to the biotic charge. You could explain why the biotic charge would be ridiculous in JA, because I do not think so. Dash power is similar but not quite, because that will not necessarily approaching to the enemy or end in explosion.

The power that I prefer to see in Jedi Knight saga is something similar to the biotic charge of Mass Effect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKHVzmGOnLU This power could be elaborated with a combination between Force speed and concussion shot; the differences are that this power would not slow down the time and you can not change the distance you travel, but just move to reach the enemy. Upgrades. More damage. Less consumption of Force points. Recharge the shield with a charge at an target, although the latter is perhaps too powerful but could work only against non-Force sensitives. Drain the target's life with a charge at an target, but this only works against living non-Force sensitives. Charge through walls and other material objects, with only the Force sense on target, also a too powerful upgrade but it fits with the power. The name of the ability would be Force charge and a explanation would be a Force sensitive fuses her / his material body briefly with her / his spiritual body and it moves at the speed of light toward the target, releasing a huge amount of energy in that place for recreate the material body of the sensitive and her / his equipment. Combos. Force charge + saber attack: at the conclusion of the Force charge the sensitive impales the target. Force charge + Force grip: the target is immobilized to the Force charge. Force charge + Force drain: charge absorb life from target for the sensitive instead of recharging her / his shield. In the spiritual form the sensitive is only vulnerable, but for less than a second, to purely Force attacks. What your opinion?

With this thread I thought of improving powers already in Jedi Academy. My suggestions: 1. Be possible to activate Force push / pull as fast as you press the buttons. 2. Be possible regulate Force push / pull in breadth and depth: You can reach someone at a great distance but only one, or you can reach several but at close range. 3. Force speed / protection and absortion spend Force points only gradually. 4. Force sense also serve as a night vision.
-
I prefer that Force users can push Force destruction, because otherwise it would be too easy to kill them. What I would like is that the player can perform Force Push and Pull as fast as he / she press the buttons, that Force speed only consume gradually Force points and Force sense as night vision.

Hello, I do not want to bother you but the rancors appear without textures and in the Temple of Ancients level, the walls appear without textures. I do not know why that is, because I installed the fix. One more thing that I've noticed is that in the Treasure Ship level, there is a room with soldiers in orange platforms, where if you jump to the second platform, will you hit an invisible wall. Below is water but I find no other way out.

Good news!

1. The Jedi are the guardians of the galaxy, but they are not powerful enough to protect the innocent, as an automatic and supersonic weapon would put at risk a Jedi, their number is very small and they lack teleportation powers to be where they are needed in time. 2. The Jedi must learn to deal with their dark side, which can be warriors and remain good individuals, using the dark side without being evil, because if the dark side is repressed does not disappear, it becomes stronger. 3. Jedi precedence tradition to efficiency, but the battles are won by being more efficient than the enemy. 4. The Jedi use a melee weapon as a primary weapon, but the first should be attack at distance; the melee combat should be the last option; stun gun and lightshield would be best equipment for a Jedi in ranged combat. 5. Blasters in Jedi Knight games are very slow and even a normal person can dodge their shots; blasters would have to be supersonic and automatic, while the Jedi would have to move as blur on a regular basis for ranged combat against them being obsolete. 6. If the power of the Death Star is insignificant compared with the Force, then this would have to appear in films, games, etc. The Force powers of Jedi Knights would have to be more powerful than technology, so that if the technology is used is because it can be used by anyone, while the Force is only available to a minority. 7. The use of Force is stagnant in SW, so that there should be a progress, going from the origin of the living beings to angels and demigods of the Force. What do you think?

I think there are certain games that have made certain things better than Star Wars games and new Star Wars games could imitate. 1. Advent Rising: Force powers more powerful and efficient. 2. Dark Souls: oppressive duels against creatures of the dark side of the Force: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_Wraith 3. Dishonored: vertical motion under the super-agility and to choose lethal or non-lethal approaches in missions: dark side or light side. 4. Metal Gear Solid Rising: to curtail enemies precisely with the lightsaber and reject supersonic projectiles with the lightsaber regularly. 5. Path of Neo: use of Force for dodge blasters instead of lightsaber and unarmed combat. 6. The Elder Scrolls IV: open world. 7. Tomb Raider: explore Jedi / Sith tombs for unique objects, solve puzles, dodge traps and fight with the guardians of the tomb. What do you think?

Is a new Jedi Knight reboot possible?
Mizore replied to BruceJohnJenner's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
I do not think they make other Jedi Knight, but they did could make a new series of simulator of jedi, from youngling to jedi grand master, with a improved lightsaber system of Jedi Academy, social relations of Mass Effect and Force powers similar to Advent Rising... -
How is the progress of the mod?

My favourite saber style is the staff, because it is the most balanced between power and speed.

I already did that, because some platforms are impossible to pass with the jump in level two. But do you know what? If you type "setforceall 5" mental trick allows you to control the enemies, which makes combat very easy if this ability is used. Also the grip on level three becomes fighting very easy, but the player can avoid using these skills if we want more challenging combat.
