  1. @@eezstreet Are you still wanting to wait for the next build? If not, I was thinking we try and do this, this weekend sometime, now that Silverfang and myself have the twitch stuff working. Maybe Friday?
  2. That makes me think it's some sort of autogenerated config file screwing something up.
  3. Ewww. See this: http://jkhub.org/topic/2885-jedi-academy-npc-limit/?p=38245 This mod should solve the issue: http://mrwonko.de/jk3files/Jedi%20Academy/Mods/Multiplayer/87847/
  4. I don't understand what that has to do with why you can't restart your machine? I'm not saying to re-image it, I'm saying to restart it.
  5. If you have never rebooted your machine this whole time, you should do that. Windows is stupid and requires reboots before most registry, drivers, and many other things will work.
  6. Try opening jamp.exe with this batch file: jamp.exe + r_allowSoftwareGL 1 exit ::r_allowSoftwareGL 1 allows unsupported drivers to attempt to load openGL (will usually result in 2fps and extremely terribly lag)This probably won't do the trick, but you never know.
  7. I guess if you really like listening to Darth Vader's voice you could make a playlist and listen to it lol.
  8. You can use a larger texture size... eg: if you originally used 512x512 for the skin, using a 2048x2048 will yield much higher quality.
  9. If Disturbed doesn't like it and asks us to take it down we will, but I think you'll be fine if they don't.
  10. @@KPSpark Using an editor like Notepad++ or sublime or something similar will also make it a lot easier. You can probably cut most of the work out for yourself, by just grabbing one of the npc files to start with from one of Raven's pk3s (they're in the ext_data directory) and just modify it and save it as a new file.
  11. We all know anything EA touches with it's sullied hands is sinful and gone astray. Don't listen to those heretics brother they will take your soul and mar the good name of Revan. Personally I voted for a Revan because I still think we haven't gotten a decent one, but I think most of the Kylo's that have done been done recently are very good and we have enough of them.
  12. @@therfiles His review 20 minutes in is awesome because he points out what's new and most importantly that you have to view it in mind that it's part one of a trilogy and not intended to be a stand alone movie. I also like how he actually reviews the film making stuff, like lighting and focus. Haven't really seen any reviews that actually deal with that and its vastly important to a movie. The review is point on, in so many ways. It's amazing to me how many people don't know and understand the difference between an archetype, trope, and a cliche.
  13. I started making a Skellig Michael map a few years ago, and then when I found out that was the island they used for filming the I've been looking at it again. Originally I wanted to do it in Cryengine though...so I haven't made much progress as far as JKA goes - I'd be happy to share references I have for it though if someone wants to take a shot at it.
  14. We can put past broadcasts online, I just have to remember to record highlights.
  15. The one here is an old build, but I doubt it was malicious. Probably a technical problem then.
  16. Well where did you download it from? Sounds like you got malware disguised as MB2, or packaged inside of it. These links should be good: http://www.moddb.com/mods/movie-battles-ii/downloads/star-wars-movie-battles-ii-v132-full https://community.moviebattles.org/pages/download/ Just downloading a file shouldn't slow your computer down, installing it; however, is another matter, but you didn't say you actually installed it... Because your computer seems to hate it so much, you should at least set a restore point before you attempt to get it again. Hard to really help you though without more detailed information of what you did exactly and what kind of errors happened and what OS you are using. Also you'd probably be better off getting help from the MBII guys, not jkhub. Their forums are here: https://community.moviebattles.org/forums/forum-support/
  17. What's fixed exactly?
  18. Should be a duel map...lol.
  19. This? http://jkhub.org/files/file/2420-npctool/ It's kind of old, so if your using a newer OS, you might need to try running it in compatibility mode. I haven't used it for a long time though, I usually just make em by hand now, since it's faster that way.

@Fighter was this written in Java? I might be able to fix the freeze screen/add a progress bar to the check so it looks like it's doing something if you still have the code.
  21. Oohhh this is nice. I didn't know you made one of these eezstreet. Thanks.
  22. Oh oops that was a typo. Meant to say EoC. Are you trying to build a new quest system, or using the lua stuff that Boba Fett built originally for JKG?
  23. Looks nice. It's like you guys tried to merger JKG and EoF EoC (whoops). I'm a little unclear on your goals though, right now it seems your mostly changing just graphical things (which is cool), but the beginning post makes it a bit unclear about what you want to accomplish with this project. Are you trying to keep gameplay relatively the same but with a much larger player base? Still...this is good, maybe it'll help motivate people to work on rend2 more since it'll generate interest. I like what you're doing with that AI though, might have to try and merge that back into JKG
