Okay, here's another question. It's not for me, but for @@Lwkill, who did this Dagobah map recently: https://jkhub.org/files/file/3517-duel-dagobah-xwing-landing/ If you take a look at the screenshots, you can see that he added fog to the map. The problem: The X-Wing is affected from the fog shader as well. My question is: Is there a way to isolate the fog from certain objects, so they don't look like as if they are part of it?

It seems that your system is missing certain libraries to get this mod working. All you have to do is install them, which is simple. The quickest solution is to go to this site (https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/visual_c_runtime_installer.html) and download the Visual C++ Runtime Installer from there. It will provide you with the necessary files. I don't know if they are up-to-date, but you should give it a try.

Where do you get that error message? When does it show up?

New Grand-Scale Mod Announcement
Lancelot replied to colonel-the-general's topic in WIPs, Teasers & Releases
@@colonel-the-general Then why did you put "grand-scale" and "announcement" in the same sentence in the first place? It implies that a huge mod is in the works. People go to this topic here, expect a big mod with lots of progress being already made - just to read that they have to join Discord. But that's not how it works. We need actual information, something to work with. You didn't provide us with anything credible that make us believe in your mod. There is no working title, a rough concept or anything. If you are serious about your project, simply give us the following informations: 1. What is your mod about? 2. What have you done so far? (except creating sound files) 3. Do you have any previous modding experience? 4. Did modders outside JKHub already join your mod? If you can't provide any answers, that's totally fine. And you don't have to be ashamed if you really don't have anything. All you have to do is be honest to us. Vague explanations are not credible enough to be convincing. And urging people to join Discord is not cool, except you really have enough content to show us, here on this site. Also, big mods don't come out of nowhere. They are either planned precisely or grow from smaller mods. They also require experience, a foundation and, most importantly, a competent team leader. Sound files are not enough to talk about a big mod. I mean, one salami doesn't make a whole pizza. I'm sure that anyone would like to join your mod. But with that little of content and management, there is no chance somebody ever will. -
A fanmade anime trailer based on A New Hope. EDIT: It seems that it can't be watched on this site, as it says "Video unavailable". However, it is possible to watch it on YouTube. EDIT 2: I'm adding the link to those who still have issues: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib_4A2CG2Ag https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib_4A2CG2Ag

@@Drakov Did you put your PC into standby mode while it was still downloading? If yes, that's probably the issue. I suggest the following: Remove the entire KotF folder the launcher has created and start the installation again. This time, wait until the download is complete. It may take a while, so make sure you have plenty of time.

As far as I know, the Droidekas are there, but only as vehicles on certain maps. Try one of the Trade Federation maps and look around the corridors.

Regarding the pricing and the work that is required, I think we should consult @@Psyk0Sith about that.

I thought about redoing the whole map and add a more cinematic feel to it. Anyway, I think it should be better discussed there (https://jkhub.org/topic/10392-mission-at-alzoc-iii-revamp-jedi-outcast-demobonus-map/?hl=alzoc). After all, this is Barricade's thread, and I don't want distract from that.

Looking at the Alzoc III screens, I think that mission really deserves a makeover.

@@DavidRen Do you have other mods in the base folder? If yes, remove them. Other mods could interfere with the KotF mod files, which can cause problems. If you don't have any other mods, the problem is probably something else. Maybe you should install KotF again. For that, just remove the KotF folder and use this launcher: https://www.moddb.com/mods/knights-of-the-force-21/downloads/kotf-launcher-v2 Put the launcher in the Gamedata folder, start it and click Update. It will install all the needed files.

This ain't The Force Unleashed anymore. What Starkiller does here comes close to Mortal Kombat.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Caliburn (Port)
Lancelot replied to Xioth's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
It's probably the cousin of Ugandan Knuckles. As someone who has played Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, all I have to say is: Even though it is possible to port models from other games, some models shouldn't be ported at all. In the worst case, the games they are ported from lose their magic. I've learned that the hard way through GMod. -

Team Negative 1 posted a huge chunk of update on their blog some weeks ago. In May, after a while of back and forth, they've finally completed restoration of the theatrical version of A New Hope. They created a 1080 as well as a 4K version of it, with the latter being the main goal of the whole project. http://www.thestarwarstrilogy.com/starwars/page/Project-4K77

Wanna know a fun-fact? The German voice actor of Rosh is the same one who usually voices Tobey Maguire. In that case, it would be more than appropriate. @@The Punisher Put Brosnan's head on Kyle's body.

Which Star Wars film had your favourite soundtrack?
Lancelot replied to MagSul's topic in Latest Poll
Basically, I love the music of Star Wars as a whole, mostly because I'm a fan of John Williams. But the soundtrack that I initially got into was from The Empire Strikes Back. And because it's my favourite Star Wars movie, I would consider that one my favourite soundtrack. Apart from that, there is no clear favourite for me. No matter if prequel, original, sequel or spin-off, every movie has its unique soundtrack, and with that its own memorable tracks. -
That's true. But still, there is a difference between blood and some "red mist". Anyway. I think blood and gore are a little bit too much for a mod that aims to stay close to the feel of Star Wars. It might be fine as a mini mod for those who want it, but it shouldn't be a major feature. However, exceptions could be made on sharp melee weapons, such as the vibro blades. Anything else would be too over-the-top.

I'm aware of that. I just wanted to share my suggestions.
