      htc vive is better than oculus rift right now. Because oculus rift doesn't have the motion-tracked controllers yet.

      Source: I have tried Oculus Dk1, Dk2, Release version. HTC Vive developer version and HTC Vive released version.

       

      Not a whole lot of quality content for either of them yet.

    Anyone else work at a computer? What do you do to your work environment to encourage your creativity? I was thinking about plants and soft lights.

      I have very little at my desk compared to other people at work, but I have a row of 10~ lego minifigures on one of my screens.

       

      And inflatable swords (one currently inflated) to bash people with. Although that plan has backfired as it is currently mostly being used by designers to hit me.

       

      But I'm a coder so I guess our creative needs are a bit different.

      I recreated the cutting mechanic shown in early trailers for my bachelor thesis =3. It looked really interesting.

      Though the changes made when they swapped the studio to make the game makes it less appealing in my opinion.

      Where you get? I'll be working at Funcom, in Oslo.

      How much? Not as much as I'd get working in pretty much any other programming job. But other programming jobs aren't making games. =] So we'll see how it works out.
