Considering the quality, I have a hard time seeing the JKA myself.  It looks fantastic!

Not compatible in what way? It uses the assets from the Steam version just fine and is what probably 90% of players use.

Unless you are referring to the Steam Deck, then you'd be correct. Windows only, sadly.

I'm using steam version.
Don't start the game tru steam...open your steam folder in your hard drive, then go to...steamapps...common...jedi academy...game data and double click on Movie Duels x86.
It should work...if you use windows, of course.
