Blender Import skeleton , add new object and name it model_root_0 (i dont make lods) , start to make the model , later make them as parts ( hands , head..), Name these parts (head_0..l_leg_0) To be honest i learned from observation. Import the jawa model for example and check how it is made , what options are used, how the parts are weighted (this is the part i must learn.. it is kinda hard to understand from the start ) . And of course the exporter needs to know about UV layout. When You are making a texture You must pay attention to split the edges in the good way. I can make a model as You see but it is not enough advanced . I know how to use blender. There are many tutorials for the other programs but i will not make the tutorial for this one because my experience is not enough.
