    The skin is a modified version of the base twi'lek, as you pointed out. If you were to open the NB_Assets.pk3, you'd find the relevant files in models/players/padawan. So if you make something to replace those assets, you could overwrite the twi'lek skin with whatever you prefer, though the voice should still be the female one because the mod was designed that way intentionally.

    I didn't cheat! I only had Force Jump, Pull and Saber Offense/Defense 1. I nearly died more than once! I quite enjoyed playing through that. You should attach some scripts to it! A snippet of dialogue here or there could make a big difference. Or maybe pre-setting the powers we can use and having to find our lightsaber. I hope you produce more things like this. :)

    Would you consider merging all of these Yavin maps into one level? Thinking about your players, they would have to change maps a lot to really get the most out of what you're making. You have a good start on brushes!

    That's not a bad start you've got there, I approve!

     

    My suggestions (non-obligatory!): Consider looking into shaders to apply to the robes. With a transparent one, you could make the cloak and flap look less straight and ironed at the bottom. If you're looking for a suggestion for the model itself (from a non-modeler!) Maybe approach the bracers as a separate piece of the model to break up the arms and hands. :)

    That's a really good model! I like the amount of detail you've put in. :D

     

    My one critique would have to the size of her head, I think it's just a little too big. Besides that, this is superb!

    Yavin Arena Map

    Releasing a map publicly can be a very scary thing! Personally, I really like the atmosphere you've put together! My one critique for you: I do feel it's a bit "pointy." By that, I mean a lot of corners. Try experimenting with some curves! ^.^ I think your blue lamps create some lovely light, but have you considered perhaps swapping out the brushes for the Rift crystal lamp model? =D

    I'm wondering if the spawn points could change to be in the central training room? Just thinking of how FFA servers work, where either people are dueling privately, or big FFA's are happening. Either spread the spawns out throughout the map or have the throughout that center room. Right now if you're dueling or FFAing, you have to travel quite a ways to get back to where you want to be. (especially if you're planning on making it bigger)

    Deciding on the spawnpoints was actually a problem for me. I was going to scatter them in the usual FFA fashion, but I decided to side with the role-players. Some role-play mods allow you to place your own spawnpoints, so with that in mind, I may change them up to be more FFA-friendly in version 2. ^.^

    Circa's Menu Mod

    I really like those new menu sounds; they're far less obnoxious than the originals. The music's a nice addition. I always brace myself to have my ears blasted off by the Base music whenever I've removed my usual edits. The music choice is a good one and sets a nice mood. ^.^ I agree that a change of video is a good thing, but it something just felt out of place with Hoth. The Raven's Claw arriving on Yavin IV from JK:O would probably be an ideal one, but that'd obviously have be put into the .pk3 as well. I wonder if you could have separate videos for MP and SP. Use the Wedge mission intro for MP (two x-wings) and use the Hoth one for SP (one x-wing.)

    Kril'dor has always been one of my least favourite levels and I have to say that when I played through it recently with this file, it felt like a fresh experience and I enjoyed it. :)

     

    If I were to critique, though, I would say that the bottom part of the image doesn't have a lot going on and there's room for improvement there. Regardless, I'll be keeping the file installed!

  1. Even worse. Tested this mod in another PC with a whole new JKA copy that was I've bought. With 1.0.0. and with the patch 1.01 it still doesn't work on neither of my PC or JKA games : damn i wish i could use this one

    i tested it with a clean install and it was A-OK with me on all versions. The only time I encountered an error with this file (just now having done another test) was when I had my zVIICursor (the Kylo Ren saber cursor mod I made) installed as well. Because they were both using the same shader file, one overwrote the other. I'll have an experiment and try and fix it asap.

    I downloaded your mod and installed it properly, but it dont want to start. Am I doing something wrong or I am just unlucky with your mod?

     

    Are you getting an error message? Are you playing through Steam or using a disc copy? :)
