  1. Good map indeed, but if I can see the map that he posted is the only actual full ESB Bespin map out there, that needs to be in JKA as well.
  2. Go ahead and use my models/textures/frankensteins. I have released them all with permission to all other users to use them, as long as they provide credit to me and the other authors (if there are such for the particular model/skin/frankenstein). And also you can use my JKA Models pack if you need something from there. The person is polite and do want to have permissions to use them even for his own mod, instead of finding out in a short time ago in a planet, very far in the galaxy, that those models are used with no permissions for mods such as KOTF.
  3. Sure, you are free to make it on your own
  4. I think it would be nice, if we can have a small map (like the one of Darth Vader's chamber), from TFA movie inside the Starkiller base, where's the Supreme Leader Snoke hologram. And I think if this is made as a JKA map, characters to fight around and turn on/off a hologram of Snoke will be brilliant idea.
  5. BTW I have noticed, that if you want just to play with the models in JKA game (both SP/MP), you will need to open the Models Pack.pk3 file and inside: models/players to remove from each model's folder the Blender files, the screenshots, PSDs, OBJs, and folders inside the charecter's folder such as: backup, old, test. Those are in need to be deleted in order to run the models pack in your game, without any problems.
  6. The pack is already here guys! May the Force be with you and have fun using those models or editing them. I am glad, that i was able to help to some of you and hope, that in the future I will still be able to spend even some less free time on JKA, because I will never stop loving this game. http://jkhub.org/files/file/2669-dark-apprentice-jedi-academy-models-pack-official/
  7. OK, The JKA Models Pack is ready and sent for approval in JKHub. Let's hope it will be released very soon in here.

Interesting work, DA. I love the creative incentive it presents. ^_^ And it's a good idea to publish it in a bundle like that.

Thank you Cerez! I certainly ain't a good modeler or anything like this, but as a small time-consuming hobby and giving people what they want until, they get better models/textures was my pleasure.

DARK_APPRENTICE JEDI ACADEMY MODELS PACK Author: Dark_Apprentice e-mail: reuber_666@abv.bg Type of Mod: JKA Models, Characters Pack, Re-Skins, Frankensteins, NPCs, Player Models, Single Player, SP Support and NPC Support, Personal Skins/Models, Celebrity Skin/Model, Jedi, Sith, Star Wars Related, Episode 7 Ok guys, some of you know me and others don't. As I felt really busy at my new job and the other projects, that I am working on, and the life in person is getting in mature levels (assuming wedding at some near future and working on my new solo project, planning tours and stuff like that). I thought, that I want to release my small Jedi Academy Models Pack. This pack will contain few of the Frankenstein & Re-skins, that I have made in the time spent on JKHub. I know, that there are people, who will enjoy them and people who would like to see those models released. Personally my own goal to start with the Frankensteins, was not to make those models for me, but for people, who are not able to create models on their own, and to give them a results, that are as close as possible, to their wish/imagination, because I know how it feels, when someone really wants something so bad, and can't have it for some reasons (assuming, no skills to model or illegal problems caused from porting models and so on). This models, are: finished versions, work in progress (open to edit/change/re-make/re-skin/re-frankenstein if you want) & unfinished, that need someone better in the knowledge of Blender, than me (a.k.a. So I am giving those to you people, because I don't want them to become "one with the Force", if my computer blows up/ gets on fire or something like that. MODELS LIST: * Poe Dameron (Resistance outfit) [Frankenstein/Reskin - in need of a re-texture on Mercenary's Kyle face] * Shaak Ti (TFU) Version 01 (Frankenstein) [Version 02 is a W.I.P. as .Blender / .Obj / .3Ds file needs foots instead of boots/shoes and the lower robe to be fixed]. * The Force Awakens (Ep. 7 Reskins) for Z-95 & X-Wing basic JKA vehicles. * Cybernetic Maul (Frankenstein) * Custom Clone Wars / Rebels Darth Vader (Frankenstein/Reskin) * McQ's Luke Skywalker concept (Frankenstein/Reskin) * Re-Textured "realistic" ANH Darth Vader * LEGO TFA Old Luke (reskin) * General Hux version 0.1 (reskin/franki) * Force Unleashed Jedi Leia (reskin/franki) * TFA Rey (with the robes from the final scene, when she find Luke) /Franki-Reskin/ * Ben Kenobi "before ANH / few years after Order 66" (Frakni/Reskin) * ESB Hoth Leia (franki/reskin) * Jake Lloyd (little Ani from Episode 1) - aka matured "Anakin" (franki/reskin) CREDITS LIST FOR ALL THE MODELS/PARTS: Infinity Blade, Barricade24, HapSlash, Scerendo, Me0is0Jade, LucasArts, Raven Software, Jedi Academy, Hoodz, DT85, Kualan, Toshi, MB2 Team (LEGO Luke), whoever made the "Mgs-ocelot" jacket, Jora Custov, Syko, UsungHero, Kylo Ren, Lt. I am also very happy if any of this models/frankensteins/re-skins could make it into someone’s Mod projects or whatever you are using them for! Just happy to bring happiness to you and give you something little from my abilities, since I am and will never become a real modder. Stay cool and May the Force be with You!
  10. Finally able to pack up my JKA Models Pack. Need to clear some details over the CREDITs section, before uploading it to JKHub.

  11. Hello again to everyone in here! After an amazing hard week at work and not only, I am finally able to take some time over my JKA Pack, before it is ready to upload in here. Before that, I would like to turn to the entire Stuff in JKHub for advice on my READ ME document, since it contains a lot of information, but I need everything over the "CREDITS" section to be in 100% perfect, in order to upload and release this pack in JKHub.
  12. No problem, same problem on my phone when on here, but I use the full site version there ^^
  13. If you try to read a little bit more careful my message above, you will notice this part, that I will make in bold font to jump up. That means, that I am currently working on this pack, I want to finish few small details here and there, before it's gonna be released. Also the release of the pack will be sent in JKHub and will wait for approve as soon as I send it. Assuming this will happen in the next few weeks, because I have no time during the week (only weekends). And I Quote myself: "I thought, that I want to release my small Jedi Academy Models Pack. This pack will contain few of the Frankenstein & Re-skins, that I have made in the time spent here."

  15. Thank you! Now I only need to fix this and hope that this time it will work:
  16. After trying to make it as you say, now after exporting the entire model as "model.glm" Blender's error says this:
  17. Ok, but how could I find which of all objects is the one with the problem. Could it be the head_0 since it's from a different model, and not the one used as a base for the body, legs and arms? How could I separate the joined mesh in order the UV map to run correctly.
  18. I really do need help with this it seems stupid question, but I still need to know how to avoid future errors.
  19. I know, that I have asked for this before and tried to find it, but since I can't find the old thread no where in JKHub, I am in a need for help with Blender exporting and some LOD issues. I have a certain model that i work on (it is a frankenstein). After I attached the new head on the body, that I want to use and hit the GLM exporter, Blender simply gives me the well known Error message: OK, so here is what I have tried to fix so far: I have added the Ghoul 2 properties. The head DOES have it's original texture and it works (nothing missing from there). Check out if anything is missing, but nothing seems to be out of order. @@Kualan have told me to try this steps, but it seems, that "CTRL + H" is for the Hooks in Blender, so I found out the option to hide the surface is just pressing the "H" button on my keyboard. I have done it just as mentioned below: But after this steps, when I go to File/Export/JA Ghoul2 model (.glm) it simply gives me again the same Error message, that drives me crazy and I can't deal with it. (Could not load surface head_0 (LOD 0) from Blender: Vertex without UV coordinates found!) Please, if anyone is able to help me out and explain me how to fix this problem in order to fix it and make the model to be exportable without problem so I can check it in ModView before testing it in game and in order to avoid future problems with the same error.
  20. Need help with Blender or somebody to make a Tutorial about this Blender Error while exporting a .glm model: "Could not load surface head_0 (LOD 0) from Blender: Vertex with...

    1. Kualan

      Kualan

Turn on Face Select, then select the entire affected surface in Edit Mode.

Then hide the surface (CTRL+H I think), it will look like the surface has disappeared.

Then change to Vertex Select mode and select all. This should highlight a few loose vertices that you can then safely delete.

Return to Object Mode and your hidden surface will reappear and you can export.

Doesn't seem to work, or at least it does not highlight any loosed vertices and nothing seems to be around to delete. Is it just the "H" button in order to hide the surface?

  21. Nice, that looks good. You can use my re-texture of Vader to look a little bit more realistic as shown below:
