I'd have to disagree on that one. I'm not a fan of overly colorized team skins. They look very cheesy.

It doesn't have a typing animation, but the one you probably want is BOTH_TALKGESTURE1 in the protocol's animations.

Yeah, so PNG file size will probably be bigger, which doesn't really matter much. Anyone would prefer quality over the disk space.

I feel like having a Star Wars section would clutter the forum page more than just keeping them in the off-topic forum, because they are off-topic. Not sure though, I'd like to see others' opinions on this.

More info is needed. Pictures and general info on the character. Never heard of it.

You can say that about any model's textures though. This issue isn't exclusive to this one.

Perhaps jamme can help you. http://jkhub.org/files/file/1712-jamme/

He mentioned that he's doing film characters only, which includes all the Star Wars movies, not just the prequels. He just happened to do Maul and is highly considering Qui-Gon because the only model we have is from JK2 and it's not very good. And he already has one started, somewhat.

Can I see some of your previous texturing and skinning work? I don't think I've seen any before.

This is a small collection of new fonts for the chat and various other areas of the game, such as the minimal hud and weapon selector. Fonts included in this pack: Arial (Light) Helvetica Tech Advanced They are a great way to spruce up the old game and give it a new look. Besides, the default chat font is awful. NOTE: This currently only works in base. Not sure about other mods. -
@@DT85 if you think this is done, feel free to send it to me via PM or Steam. Looks great to me.

Ah, you're right. Just tried z1 and it worked.

If they have playerchoice.txt then it should work in SP. But if it doesn't it's missing one of the following. These are the necessary things for a model to show in the SP menu: models/players/model folder:icon_head_a1.jpgicon_torso_a1.jpgicon_lower_a1.jpghead_a1.skintorso_a1.skinlower_a1.skinplayerchoice.txtstrings/english/ folder: MENUS.str Those are the minimum. There will probably be more.

Right, but he might. It's safer to start bigger rather than smaller.
-
From a design perspective, it's actually smaller than what a lot of people do. You never know when you will need to use it for really large things like printing posters or banners in the future.
-
The original should always be as big as you can make it. You can always make smaller files to use accordingly. I recommend 2000 x 2000 pixels for this.
-
I started one, sorta.

Where do you get lost? We would be glad to help you out. To get the playermodel command to work in cutscenes is to give the exact skin file variants that you want. Example: playermodel stormtrooper model_default model_default model_default That will give you the default stormtrooper model.
