  1. I'm all for HQ sounds, but having them any higher than they already are on JKA would be overkill in most cases. If we do anything with sound, it'll be creating new ones, but even then there isn't much point. Almost all the sounds in the game are official Star Wars sounds.
  2. @@mrwonko do you have AshuraDX's Katana Swords Pack? Can't find it on Syko's archive, and the one we have here is corrupted. The file name *should* be ashuras_katanapack.zip if that helps.
  3. You should have a crash log in your OpenJK folder somewhere. In Documents, My Games, OpenJK. I think.

  5. Why not wait for @@Cerez's Ahsoka model and ask permission to use that instead? And why not use the default JKA Kel'Dor head that looks almost exactly like Plo Koon? Either way, yes you are correct.
  6. It's because they use their own skeleton. You could try the protocol droid that was rigged to the human skeleton. It was on jk3files. I have it. Might try contacting the author again to have it hosted here. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5hmc5hekcw8mae8/C3PO-Macman.zip?dl=0
  7. Yeah, I figured. I mentioned them, so hopefully they come on soon and still have those versions.
  8. A few of those listed are @@Merek's files. Perhaps he can help you with those. @@Acrobat's Expedition map was updated to 1.06 and is here on JKH. Not sure about 1.05 Goldeneye Bunker by @@OmegaSigma Grand Jedi Palace Hologram Room Jedi Tunic Luke Lurtz Mando Neo Crusader Tatooine Sith Stalker Ultimate Outcast Uni of Mysteries That knocks out a chunk of those.
  9. Are those completely undownloadable for everyone or just you? Does that mean they won't be in the backup?

    Hiya o.o

    Welcome man!
  11. Right. By good looking, I meant for a JKA map. It looks pretty good in-game. That preview video doesn't do it quite as much justice. But yeah, you're right.
  12. JA+ is a multiplayer mod. If you're playing SP maps in MP, you might not receive much support for that.
  13. Since Gir is basically inactive, I went ahead and fixed the NPC file for him.
  14. Probably an issue on CloudFlare's end, not his. Could be wrong though.
  15. @@HiddenSpy achieved a pretty good looking caustic effect on his map Siren's Enclave, but I believe those were just textures he applied to the map's brushes.
  16. I think that's just a creative spin on the history. Clever.

    Hello

What do you mean? Judging from that server list? Those are only servers that have added "master.jkhub.org" as on of their master servers. It doesn't list any of the servers that only show the default master server. So there are a bunch missing from that.
  18. I linked this in your intro thread, but you can view the JKHub master server list on the web here and filter by mod. Looks like there are a few Lugormod servers up.

    Hello

Welcome! Yes, the Raven master server is down at the moment. You can view the JKHub master server using OpenJK or the All Seeing Eye mod, or look at the web master list.
  20. Screenshot? I'm hoping to have all species have both genders available in JKE.
  21. Pretty sure that feature doesn't exist in weapons.dat. Luckily, it exists for sabers, so the coding part would probably be decently simple.
  22. I agree, searching for files such as Hapslash's or Toshi's is hard because so many files give credit to them. Searching for "hapslash" in the files will narrow down the results a lot though, down to 4 pages. That's not very many to look through. This kind of stuff will definitely be discussed during the Great JKHub Renovation™ in terms of making it easier to find files and as user friendly as possible.
  23. Not a fan of that idea. I feel like that categorization of mods would be degrading to most people. I'm sure if a beginner did finally release their first skin, they'd want it in the skin section, not one titled "beginner's mods"

    JK3Files Shuts Down

Well that's kinda the approach we have now. Most authors didn't reply because they simply have left the community or don't use their old emails. Only a couple of people have actually denied our request to host. I think now that JKHub is well established and the last place to host JK mods, those people that denied might be a little more willing to host their stuff here. But it will always be a sketchy topic. We make it easy for people to request that a file is taken down, right on the file page. You don't even need an account to request that, just an email.
