I'm not a big fan of gameplay trailers anyway. If it's a new game, I prefer to be surprised as much as possible. But also, I think a lot of games these days are in full development up until right before release almost, so they aren't as comfortable with releasing unfinished gameplay as much as they used to be. My assumption at least.

I ran JKA on a machine 4 years older than that with worse specs with decent results, so yeah, shouldn't be too horrible.

Ah. I see. I'd agree with that, yeah. Though same could be said for SWTOR in general. It hasn't really stuck with classic Star Wars art style at all.

I'm a big CoD fan but I'm not looking forward to BO3 at all. Getting tired of this futuristic stuff. Looks like they stole the movement system from Titanfall, which I don't doubt they'll do it better, but it doesn't belong in a Call of Duty game. I want historic games again, like World at War or Black Ops 1. I'm most edited for Battlefront, definitely. @@NumberWan where did it say there will be no sabers? The trailer for the DLC was all about those Jedi, right?
-
The JKA app is its own app on the store right now I believe. You just have to supply the assets.

The gameplay is staged, not meant to be accurate like that. Just like in previous Battlefront games, some details like that are wrong. The point is to have major battles between the two factions on familiar planets that are reminiscent of the actual battles, such as the Battle of Hoth. I'm sure they know the lore well, as they've showed they are big Star Wars fans, but getting every single detail right for every battle would be so tedious with little reward.

Doesn't Android have Google Play store?

How is it terrible? It looked great. I think you used the wrong word there, judging from the emoticon you used. Both trailers are real gameplay, played on a PS4. Those graphics are up to par with modern games, they definitely remind me of Battlefield Hardline graphics, which is on the same engine. Some of you might not realize that, who don't play many modern games, but graphics are very realistic now, and getting better and better each year.

Not going at all. I don't have a computer at the moment. Once I get my new one, I'll probably start work on this again.
-
The good thing is, they aren't really using saber combat to market the game, as it's not a main focus for the game, just like it wasn't in BFII. Heroes are more like big power-ups for playing well, which is a good move. BF is always about the common soldier and battleground, not Jedi vs Sith.

Wow. This game looks freaking amazing.

Ping is right. Full integration would be best, not just a "partnership".

Back on topic, merging with JKH wouldn't get the project anywhere without legit staff to help run it. It would be a fairly large responsibility, and not many of those who are qualified would be interested in such a commitment. Maybe making it JKHub official would change that, not sure.
-
Interesting. Not something I'd use but once it's completed I'm sure some people would love it.
-
After playing on OpenJK for over a year, I can confidently say the sabers feel the same as base. I'm not a pro but I know people who could be considered pro that say the same.

He will be missed. Was worried this would happen soon.

Not sure. I've never heard that before, though I've never been in the market for a .us domain. Is it specifically for that registrar or all registrars?
-
A bit, yeah. If you don't register as private you'll get emails and physical mail sent to you constantly.
-
In my opinion a domain registrar really just comes down to price. Though I tend not to know things.
-
JKHub.org is registered with Namecheap, but I also recommend Name.com. That's what I've been using for a few years now with all my domains. Both domain registration and hosting is great so far.
