  1. The day has finally come. Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords is now fully native on Mac and Linux! In addition to that, they've brought some much needed features to all versions, including widescreen and larger resolution support AND controller support. I think there is Steam Workshop support too? I think if you have it for PC on Steam already, you'll automatically download the update.   3. Well I was planning on downloading your backup as a second mirror until I noticed most files were corrupted. If I were into the coding business I would help out with a bot that does such a thing.

As far as HD stuff goes, you'll be better off teaming up with people there, at Deadly Streaming. They know the game better than anyone.

People have already been working on texture recreations for years now. There was a group of students aiming to remake the game on a whole new engine as part of a project last year, and had no prior modding experience to do so. They expected it to be done within a year's time. A year. Needless to say, it didn't even a tad bit close. Like JKHub is to the JK community, Deadly Streaming is to the KOTOR community. You can head over there and poke around in the active KOTOR modding community. They can help you out.
  8. @@Syko I've noticed that the majority of the files in your archive are corrupted. I've tested multiple and they all give me a corrupted error. Or is it just me?

      I've been playing old maps recently and was thankful that maps like, sithcouncil v2 and countryAcademy are uploaded here, among with many other classics :D

    Downside is, baseJKA only allows for 2048 (or is it 1024) pixels as a maximum resolution for textures. That's why this still isn't amazing quality like I wanted. Anything else requires OpenJK. An HD Skybox mod might be in the works soon, but would require OpenJK to use.

    This mod changes the desert skybox to look more like Tatooine, complete with two suns and a vast dune sea. The default one looks pretty bad, so this hopefully improves it a little. If you’re a stickler for detail of Star Wars canon, this mod is for you. Originally made this as a request to add a second star to the sky but decided to improve the entire skybox and release it publicly. Important note: The Desert skybox is used by other maps, so it’ll change those as well. One major one is t1_danger in single player. So it might look bad on there, but if you’re a MP player, it shouldn’t be a big deal.

  13. All our work is done via a forum here on JKHub. Won't be any different than what you've done here, but your work will go towards a bigger project, and you'll be making a map that is on our list of maps that need to be made. Pretty simple. It's a Star Wars related project if that makes a difference. We need more mappers before we make it public.

    Just tried the latest build, and it gets further than last time and launches. I try to join a server and it gets to the last step and crashes. I get this: No crashlog in addition to that.

    If that were true, I wouldn't be able to use any mod. PPC applications aren't supported on the latest 3 OS X versions.
  19. I still think JK series will be made canon. The Dark Forces games were too popular to just ignore. Same with the KOTOR and SWTOR games. EA is still making content for SWTOR, which is a good sign. Disney could have terminated that contract with EA/Bioware but they didn't. We will find out for sure when the first Anthology film releases, as it's supposed to be about the stealing of the Death Star plans (I think?), which was Kyle Katarn's job in DF. I think a reboot could happen. A remade Dark Forces would be immensely popular, in my opinion.

  21. Not in that PK3 you uploaded. In the tie7.veh file nothing was changed. Change the top line that says "tie-fighter" to "tie7" and the "model tie-fighter" line to "model tie7"
  22. Your .veh files isn't changed. It still is titled "tie-fighter" instead of "tie7". As well as the model line.

  24. Just bind them all to one key with a semicolon ; between each command. So it would be: bind h "setforcegrip 3;setforcelightning 3;setforcespeed 3"And put what force powers you want with what rank you want them as. And the key of course, H was my example.
