It was a simple Instagram post to build hype, not a trailer. Not even sure I'd consider it a teaser either, other than for lack of a better word. I expect one more big trailer before release. Everything else is to build hype. Which, if they're using new clips and images, I'm 100% on board with that.

I'm really hoping Rey is going to be a Jedi and that she is a Skywalker/Solo. Really hoping. That teaser was awesome. I wasn't expecting it at all! Just scrolling through Instagram this morning and saw it. Really glad Finn is going to be the main Jedi though. He looks like he'll be a really cool character.

So sorry you think it's pathetic. People have fun with it, and competition is competition. Just because it's similar to another game that has a bigger competition base doesn't mean people can't do it in JKA too. Otherwise, you could say the same thing for any gametype, really. CTF was in games before JKA, does that make JKA's CTF community pathetic too?

All JK2 files are tagged as such and can be filtered to only show that tag. You can see them at this link. I agree though, they should be separate. It was something I was planning on doing at one point. Also, the search function is the fault of the server. It limits searches to 4+ characters. Annoying, I know.

Might have something to do with md3's though I think the base sabers only use GLM? Did you make a new .sab for it with new paths and all that?

Yes it's possible. Just need to look at how the MP menu plays music and how to make your own menu based off of the default ones. It can be kind of difficult though. Pretty complicated if you're not comfortable with menu coding or coding of any kind.

Just type "music folder" in the console. Replace map with the folder you want to play located in the music folder. (e.g. music hoth2)

To piggy-back off of my above post, JKHub is meant to be more than a forum, and should be treated as such. The web hosting feature we had was nice, but I don't think it was really a necessity for the JKA community. We need to be thinking of new ideas and reviving old ones. Now is a good time, what with "JKHub 2.0" around the corner. The JKA community is full of brilliant people. If you people can make all those mods and OpenJK and all that, imagine what JKHub could be. I'm just sorry I couldn't contribute.

How so? Any of them do. It's your attitude going into the position that matters. I came on as a moderator but did my best to introduce things and keep everything fresh. Anyone can do it. Also, when I joined, everyone was just called "JKHub Staff" - there were no special positions, we were all equals. I saw certain divides and created them. If more people with certain abilities step up, there can be more positions made. (i.e. server admin, webmaster, event planner, special projects, etc.)

I'd just like to respond to this a little bit. I'm resigning from staff, but I'm not entirely leaving the community at all. At least not yet. I serve on council in the clan -[DE]- which is keeping me playing the game, and I'm still modding here and there as well. I might come back as staff later down the road but that's a big maybe. I loved being staff overall. I loved helping people and spreading the word about JKHub and what we have to offer. Some of my favorite conversations were when I would go to random JKA servers and talk about it. Felt like a freakin prophet sometimes. though a lot of it felt in vain. I'm going to be helping pick new staff. I was going to be heading up new staff around this time anyway. My goal though, was to recruit forward thinking people with skills to take JKH to new heights. Everyone is requesting new features and fancy things, but nobody to help make them possible. Sure, we need simple moderators. But we also need staff that are willing to bring new things to the table. But maybe that should be further down the road. I'm hoping to see some qualified people step up around here. The more forward thinkers we get, the less work for one person it will be. Don't let one person be responsible for keeping JKHub relevant. Or this place will die, fast. I'm looking forward to ushering in new staff and seeing where you guys take this place.

I'm down for that, though it'd be best to have the movie released so we can get screenshots and videos of the scenery and such. I still think either the Tantive mission or cantina scene should come first though. I just have no motivation to learn more mapping and basic scripting at the moment. Maybe soon.

You don't know who Aayla Secura is, or Scerendo? I'd be shocked at either answer.
