  1. Oh wow! I'm really blown away by the fast response and from so many people! This warms my heart! So the initial test was a success. I'm going to make a couple NPC's for it and get some better screenshots. I think it'll meet my needs just fine. The only quirk is if the player has a weapon/item out (I use datapad and comlink frequently) it tilts the screen at a bit of an angle, but it should still work fine. I'll let you know of my progress.
  2. I know it's an odd request, but Jedi Academy has remained the definitive engine for my film group's machinima efforts for over a decade because there is a constant flow of amazing content from all these talented individuals, and it can be implemented into game so easily. The one thing that has eluded us, though, is being able to specifically position green screen elements into existing maps. Would it be possible to make an invisible player model with a head to toe, three body lengths wide rectangle attached to their torso (so it wouldn't move even when they do their idle head back and forth motion)? As a noclipped player it could be positioned into any spot, and as an NPC you could drop it conveniently into several spots... Is it too strange of a request? Or could someone besides me have use for it as well?
  3. I LOVE IT! Can't wait to see it uploaded! Magnificent quality!
  4. Your skill is beyond measure. I can't wait to see him uploaded!
  5. I absolutely love your enthusiasm, your list (even the order), and your dedication. Are you going to work in a rotation through the types, or just do what feels right at the time? Also, can I second the nomination of a Lothal map? City streets, the Jedi Temple, or even just Ezra's tower from the pilot?
  6. I have really been wanting to see this one in game for a while. I love the Rebels vehicles... The Inquisitor Tie, The Ghost, the first B-wing... But this is super memorable with its curves.
  7. Well, perhaps these super cool, unique, memorable sabers are the first step and then Ahsoka will come?
  8. I am also excited about it. I'm glad they used some of the original mcquarrie sketches as inspiration.
  9. I've seen a couple different versions over the years, and they each have massive pros and cons. The most photo-realistic one is a JO port, and at one point there was a texture patch for Jedi Academy, but without it you git this infinite visual glitch pit. The others aren't as accurate to the movie (one has the 'hole luke had his hand cut off in' as being about twenty feet across). I don't know where to track down the texture compatibility pack at this time.
  10. This is hilarious, and just out of the box enough that someone might do it.
  11. Well, let's say the first half of Watto's concerns weren't a factor and such was on the table?
  12. Ohhh! Absolutely beautiful! I was waiting to see some more in game shots, very nice lighting!
  13. I could have sworn that I saw a mod of PZ-4CO in development on this site, but now I can't find it.
  14. Well, I just went through this whole thread from start to finish to refamiliarize myself with what possibilities were out there. There is so much amazing content in here... Concepts, releases, just brilliant work. I can't wait for each release, but the one question I have is if the Barc Speeder was lost when your PC died?
  15. That was such an amazing innovation in design...
  16. I'm all for more vehicles... If only we could extract it from MB2
  17. Ohhh, magnificent! Great idea, great start!
  18. I love the concept of Ezra's lightsaber for the in-universe period since it has to 'stay hidden' as it were. It'd really add a nice change up to the usual formula in game.
  19. Oh wow, that's... gorgeous, heavenly, wonderful. I'm drooling.
  20. magnificent! Glad to see this is still going.

    Chopper

I am so excited to see Chopper in game, this is fantastic! I really like the body sculpt. This is so wonderful. The one thing I noticed, depending on camera angle, is that the droid hovers just slightly over the floor as well. One question I have for all modders is that when non-humanoid models are mapped to the human player model, are the art assets able to be remapped down the road to, in this case, a droid skeleton?
  22. LOL getting BB-8 in game is just as much of a miracle, either droid would be amazing but if both were ever completed they would be the cornerstones to eras of droid in the Star Wars universe... So whatever happens, I am thankful for all your help @@AshuraDX
  23. While Chalk was perhaps not fully satisfied with animations, what he got in game seemed almost completely done other than the skin texture, but it may not be possible to pick up from where he left off. Still, it is very nice to know interest exists out in the world.
  24. I feel like a black widow... I convinced three different, highly skilled modders to take on this project and each time the modder wound up leaving the community and JK3 as a whole... Chalk got way closer than anyone though with that skinless one rolling around in game... It was everything I dreamed of and more though.
  25. If anyone needs better close up detail on BB-8, they released a video of his live-action model that has some extreme close ups for great reference: https://youtu.be/A_K10fX9DSY?t=27s
