Obi-Wan Kenobi - Disney+ Series

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader. Joining the cast are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

Progress Report: February 2022

We have a good bit going on, but most of it I can't even discuss at the moment.
CHARACTER FIXES
In the middle of February, we released a fix addressing many (and I mean MANY) characters suffering from the invisible lightsaber bug. With the release of the hotfix, all known and easily fixed characters have been addressed, with Bossk currently the only character we are aware of with the invisible lightsaber bug.
Furthermore, we have begun steps to fix or add soundsets for many other characters currently missing them. Presently, Taron Malicos and the Sith Emperor Vitiate have been addressed and will have all-new soundsets when we release. Other characters we're currently looking into are Arcann/Thexan, Valkorion, and Vaylin.
MISSIONS
The last several progress reports, we've reported on new missions being developed. What is the news behind them? I unfortunately cannot provide updates. Operation: Knightfall, Deathstar Rescue are currently blocked due to several factors. 2 other duel missions currently in development are nearing completion, but again are facing blockers. We're looking into resolving these this month, but I cannot provide any other comments regarding the missions at this time.
One thing I can say however is that with our last update, we have snuck in our next April Fools prank, in fact after some engine modifications, I am excited to say that every April Fools will have a recurring event. We'll reveal more details in the next progress report.
NEW MAPS
Our mapper Lwkill has made several new maps which should be available in the next update.

A kit bash I put together for a certain version of Luke Skywalker after the events of The Mandalorian, Season 2, finale. The head was a pain to fix in terms of texture, as the original texture had a hard shadow of the young Luke hair covering his forehead. So I took a lot of time trying to smooth it out best I could for this other piece of hair I added. Anyway, enjoy fighting with little Grogu on your back!

The map is based on Monopoly Board Game. It has fully functioning Property Cards, houses and jail.
In addition, there are Chance and Community Chest Cards as presented on screenshots.
The map does not contain a fully functioning system, including a scoreboard, which would be Credits, and the map cannot randomly generate a number of the dices or chance cards.
It was way beyond my skills, I am afraid. If someone is willing to make it, message me, and I can send a source file.

This is a map I made in 2009 and which I am uploading mostly for archival purposes, but also for that modern audience that still has use for maps geared towards roleplaying.
The map features a fairly well-detailed military base with all the rooms that most role playing situations might require. To broaden the scope and utility of the map, it also includes a small town with starport and several shops and domiciles. Furthermore, the gunship functions as a teleporter to a ''killhouse zone' which might function as a practice area for urban combat. Likewise, the town itself leads into a short cave area that might serve to more options for different kinds of roleplay.

Within the pk3, are the various outfits of the character Sirius Invictus as well as those of secondary characters that I have utilized within the RP realm during those aforementioned years. Custom personal droid, custom High Republic Jedi Outfit, a human female kitbash/retexture, a semi-custom semi-kitbashed Nelvaan character, a custom sphere-shaped holocron. Kyle Katarn comes to Galaxy of Heroes mobile game

This week EA revealed that Kyle Katarn is coming to their hit mobile game "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" to join that fairly massive roster of not only movie characters, but a slew of Legends characters as well, which is always kind of a shocker due to the nature of Lucasfilm's efforts to keep Legends material out of the public eye for the most part. They now have a big number of character from KOTOR including Revan, Malak, Bastila, and many more.

KOTOR Limited Run Pre-Orders

Limited Run is finally releasing a new physical edition for KOTOR, similar to what they did for JK2 and JKA. These look absolutely amazing. There are 5 editions: Premium and Master edition for PC and Switch, and just a normal standard edition for Switch. Pre-orders start tomorrow!

Jedi Outcast comes to Xbox Backwards Compatibility
This doesn't really pertain to our core community here, since the majority of you are PC players, but this is some welcome news. Yesterday Microsoft relaunched their backwards compatibility program with a whopping 70 new titles after putting it on hold during the Series X|S transition. One of the first games on the list is our beloved Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. This is particularly important because Jedi Academy was already backwards compatible, but also that both games got re-released on PS4 and Switch and were left out on Xbox. It was assumed it was due to Jedi Outcast being added to backwards compatibility later down the line but we had no proof of this.

Physical bundles for console versions

Today, Aspyr Media announced two new bundles they are releasing in physical form for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4: the Jedi Knight Collection (Jedi Outcast and Academy) and the Racer and Commando Combo (Star Wars Racer and Republic Commando). This is a partnership with THQ Nordic, which I assume is for the physical media production and distribution portion. This comes over a year and a half after Jedi Academy released on Switch and PS4 digitally, and two years after Outcast.

Return of the Jedi outfit
The Mandalorian battle damaged outfit from the episode "The Tragedy" (helmetless variant included)
The Mandalorian repainted outfit (helmetless variant included)
Feel free to use as you see fit, but please do not use them outside of Jedi Knight games without my permission.
This model is custom made in Blender and Substance Painter from scratch. They include vanilla textures and shaders as well as PBR variants for those who have more advanced renderers like rend2.

SUMMER MOD CONTEST 2021WINNER. Based off Final Fantasy 7 references to Costa del sol from the original game and Crisis Core. Also took influence from the Final Fantasy 7 remake. Some areas in this map are never seen in any version of the Final Fantasy games so that’s where I took some creative liberties. Couple picks ups to be found and some jump challenges for strafers. Map is also fun to fly on or other events.

KOTOR remake officially coming to PC and PS5

It's coming to PC and PS5 at launch, with Xbox and maybe Switch later. They are making this from the ground up, while also respecting and taking inspiration from the original. They assembled a brand new team of AAA industry veterans just for this game, including those from the original KOTOR team from 2003 BioWare.

Probably one of my most favorite moments in the Anakin vs Obi-wan fight; when they both jump on the small beam. Such a cool scene, so I decided to try and recreate it in blender with JKA models. 🙂
