Hi Jeff,

I encountered a model animation bug. Whenever I set Jaina's NPC model to dismember head, the head is intact. Is this a .skin file bug or am I missing something?

That usually indicates an issue with either the hierarchy or the naming. Does the head get duplicated or just not dismembered at all?

Hierarchy issues tend to cause all sorts of weird glitches, wrong names usually just prevent things from working.

The model should have these mesh names:

hips, r_leg, l_leg, torso, r_arm, r_hand, l_arm, l_hand, head

If any of these are missing that can lead to issues.

Only the head of the model doesn't get dismembered. It stays when I set "NPC to Dismember Head" to true.

I don't see a mesh named hips/hips_off (<- used in the base JKA Single Player Models) not torso/torso_off.

That might be the cause of the problem.

I put a Quarren pack of models up. It consists of

-Hoth Trooper

-Rebel Pilot

-Shirtless

-Basic

-Darth Maleval

The Quarren Rebel pilot was already released but I threw him in for a request.

Is there any way you get across a new link that hasn't expired for this mod? I'd love to have Maleval since I'm making a series using Legacy Era characters 🙂 thanks!

Thank you so much man!
I've downloaded almost everything you've posted that was available and just have one other question. I'm using movie duels in general and have added the models into the game files there. I'm just not sure how to spawn the characters you shared via dropbox. For example I tried npc spawn abeloth and nothing happens. Are there any specific key words or names I should be using in order to spawn them over console? Thanks once again mate!

This program makes it really easy to create npc files

Much appreciate it mate! Hopefully you will enjoy what we have planned with some good old EU stories and machinimas thanks to jedi academy mods 😉

hello Jeff, I seemed to have stumbled upon an issue regarding a model you made, for some reason when i try to spawn this model ingame, this happensspacer.png

It looks like there is a texture or shader conflict between that file or another one in your base folder. Do you have pakscape to look at the contents of pk3 files?

@Brendan1021

This topic is for WIP content only. If you have requests, please create a separate topic for them in the appropriate section. And that applies to everyone here!

Yes, Jeff has done great models. But like every single one of us, he's just a regular person, and he doesn't have the time to work on character models. Like all of us, he has a life to live, one that has nothing to do with modding at all. He's not some sort of wizard who just needs to swing his wand to port models for you. So, if he ever delivers new content, it's because he had found the time and the motivation for it.

Let's say that it was you who would do all the work instead of Jeff. How would YOU react if random people dropped by and give you links of models THEY want? I doubt that your answer would be "Great! Thanks for the dozens of models. I'll have them ported for you very soon."

Hey Jeff, lovely work, I use all your skins in my clients, had to make the sp files for them but yet they all work amazingly, thanks for so much great stuff, wanted to ask if there's any chance for you to make Darth Krovos(swtor) skin at some point...
