  1. Naming them correctly is one thing but are they parented correctly in the hierarchy too? For example, you don't have everything parented directly to model_root do you?
  2. It's in the second Mega Pack on the front page of my thread.
  3. In Modview, if you go to Edit and untick Show Objects As Two Sided (or something like that) does the accessory also become invisible?
  4. Me reading this thread:
  5. Very good update on this guy - more Snoke than I ever expected to see on JKA.
  6. Cursory glance, but those look like some handy guides. Bookmarked, thanks.
  7. But seriously, why would you think posting a thread overtly advocating for people to pirate a game would be a smart thing to do?
  8. The name is utterly irrelevant, I don't understand why people are getting so tied up on it.
  9. To be fair, these guys have a very simple design with few complicated shapes or highly-detailed surfaces that would make them a very suitable first project for a budding new modeller. Texturing it would be a doddle, no complex face rigging required, etc.
  10. I forgot the Hub doesn't allow new material containing port, so here you go. I ended up not doing Hux's entire jacket from the port as it was causing too much of a headache with the weights and @@dark_apprentice 's former Hux reskin has a useable jacket so I just played with that in Photoshop a little. General Hux: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9w36orkqaicbl0l/GeneralHux.zip?dl=0 First Order Officer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/iiv0bl337t8dkwa/FOOfficer.zip?dl=0
  11. General Hux WIP: The no-jacket version is pretty much done, however his coat versions need a lot more work on their weights - I have done a basic data transfer from an existing JKA model to give me a foundation for the trenchcoat but there's still hours of touch-up work left to get them just right.
  12. I'm planning on doing a Hux / First Order officer soon (once I return home from visiting family for Christmas). I may do a few Resistance soldier/officer variants if I have the time too. Cool-looking female villain by the way - replacing Alora I assume?
  13. Going to take a break from Source Filmmaker when I return home from the holidays - may do a couple of Last Jedi kitbashes as a distraction.
  14. Maybe tag your spoilers...
  15. Fantastic-looking map! Following this with great interest.
  16. If anyone's a fan of Overwatch, a teaser trailer for my new Source Filmmaker project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PAK-sSVHaM

  17. Very quiet on the JK modding front these days - I've finally got around to learning Source Filmmaker and loving it.

I'm sure you can make a great video though, as, judging by your comic, you've already proved to have the ability to make a good narrative.

Man, it definitely pays to have a few hours away from the scene and then come back to it with fresh eyes. Your criticisms are so glaringly obvious I can't believe I managed to overlook them - particularly that clipping hand! I also remember being so focused on animating her hair that I must have neglected some more facial animation towards the end of that shot. Many thanks.

I'm sure you'll keep improving with time. I look forward for more animations!

  18. Nice! Just be careful not to choke on your aspirations.
  19. I agree with previous posters - this contest was harder to vote on that I expected. The maps in particular were great - @@Artemis 's Cornmaze was a simple concept executed well - just a few turns and I already felt genuinely lost. @@Jedi_Mediator 's Haunted Halls was also suitably creepy whilst still being distinctly Star Wars-y (it made me think of a cross between the Sith and the Nightsisters with all the eerie green lights). @@Ramikad and @GPChannel also had well-realised ideas for their maps. But I ended up voting for @Langerd 's Halloween Town. The interact elements (from the broomstick vehicles to exploding pumpkins/cauldrons) were a neat touch that gave it the map a little something extra.# Great work everyone!
  20. Aye, I planned to put a head in there I might give it a go some time.
  21. I wonder if it'll be possible to make the helmet semi-transparent similar to the Rebel Pilot's goggles? I managed to pull that off with the Clone Cadet kitbash, depends on the helmet mesh - might need hollowing out first.
  22. Very nice work, suitably eerie-looking for the Halloween Contest.
  23. Wow, that was fantastic. Good voice-acting (who is that Darth Vader? He was perfect!), slick camerawork (I'm curious how you accomplished some of those smooth panning shots with JKA) and a solid story that genuinely made me go 'Aww, damn' when it hit the end. I want to see more!
