  1. I think a year is plenty of time to be able to do both.
  2. You haven't said what format you want to convert from (no software can convert from any format) so the best I can suggest with so little information is virtualdub.
  3. Like learn to map yourself. Could have had your own Manaan map if you'd spent that time learning the craft instead of sending PM's.
  4. You can make partial env maps with some fancy shaders, but it takes multiple images & so the package will be larger. Not a huge deal, but I'm terrible at troubleshooting shaders without the actual mod package to test with.
  5. The green paint should be fairly matte, I would think. Having a very SLIGHT env map on the metal where the green paint is scratched off would probably look pretty wicked though.
  6. If it changes after you add the *.skin file verify your *.skin file is actually complete and includes all meshes. For the modview issue we'll need more than "it doesn't work".
  7. If you're not sure how to apply textures in the modeling software you're using I would strongly recommend reading through the help documentation that came with the program.
  8. Make sure you apply textures to every mesh before exporting.
  9. This is probably the only legit Revan model you're going to get at this point (click me). Honestly it's armor, so the body shape wouldn't vary too much from a slender male to a female. And that model can't be modified per the author's request.
  10. Can always use a very generic humanoid shape without a lot of definition, if you're worried about it looking actually human. Assuming I understand what you're planning, of course, which I may not.
  11. Started working on the Sith Fighter. Again, no promises on speed. @@minilogoguy18 What say you about maybe animating the Sith fighter's wings? Just a thought. Also I am impressed that your UV mapping skills have increased, likely a result of texturing practice. 8) I didn't feel the need to complete re-unwrap it haha.
  12. So I thought it would be amusing to put together a GIF of the progress of this, just for anyone who's curious how I pieced together the texture. [source]
  13. That's up to you. I got the e-mail but haven't had time to even really look at them yet. My schedule is swamped until at least Sunday.
  14. Email those to me. No promises to OP, but I need a good texturing project. Don't expect fast results though - I do work 40+ hours a week like your average responsible adult.
  15. After reading that post I'm convinced he doesn't even know what the meaning of the words "professionalism" or "customer service" are. Things were different in our day, Szico. Better not to even look now... it might be contagious.
  16. Pfft that's because I ran that site like a nazi.
  17. Weeks might be an exaggeration haha. it was definitely thorough, though, but I'm a perfectionist.
  18. Extracting resources with KotOR Tool should be entirely self explanatory. If you want actual help making a KotOR mod feel free to let me know. If you want help porting something from KotOR you'll have to ask someone else.
  19. Disney Channel. Bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
  20. It looks pretty awesome so far. Can't wait to see some more progress screenshots.
  21. Got bored and worked on this a little, then realized it was super late and I should go to bed. So I'm gonna do that, but here's the pic:
  22. I'd have to re-learn how to do it and I don't really have time to do that at the moment. My best suggestion would be to disassemble and study an existing scope mod to see how it was done.
