  1. Nice, reminds me of JK2 xD.
  2. @Mandalorian Your boba fett and jango fett need to be in MBII...
  3. The biggest problem in my opinion that applies to criticism (and humanity as a whole), has always been our animals instinct reactions. Actually, almost all of the time that is what causes any kind of flame war on the internet xD. So the solution is simple: Remove the R complex of the brain, and everything will be fine .
  4. Meditating luke xD. It instantly made me think of yoga luke . EDIT: @zefilus you forgot count dooku .
  5. Thanks xD. But I prefer the good ol old and haggered look xD.
  6. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gliden64-graphics-plugin#home for anyone interested in N64 emulation, this project is very important.
  7. Wow...I haven't seen any map like this. Well done.
  8. It is obvious what our mascot should be. @@Circa, as much as I would like to be mascot, I am far to powahful for that (but the mascot powah shall still be mine!). So instead, I appoint my apprentice as mascot:
  9. When I read the second sentence, the first thing it make me think of was the jkhub community making a graveyard map, with a grave at the top of the hill that read: RIP jk3files

    NpcSP

Very useful for new players, and perhaps even master console users as well xD.
  11. Nice addition for jka . I hope scooper would one day incorporate something similar to this in makermod.
  12. Personally, I don't mind the new cartoonish style at all. Look at Zelda Wind Waker for instance, the game was quite dark despite the toon graphic style. The only thing that disappointed me was the script. Far too generic. FAR TOO GENERIC. But perhaps it will get better. Hopefully. And I would really like to see some in depth stories of the stormtroopers. That would be nice.
  13. Nope, I was just wondering whether you could explore the inside of the star destroyed, almost like a brand new space map.
  14. I believe it has something to do with openGL (well, it did for me). The newest version didn't work, but if you try downloading different versions of opengl32.dll online, and putting them in your root kotor directory, one at a time, hopefully eventually one of them will work. I know kotor crashes with the latest version of opengl32.dll IIRC.
  15. @@Circa has a point, it may drive away people from talking on the forums...but I could be wrong.
  16. Ah. I wasn't aiming for lossless re usability, I was just hoping you could still re-use the map with MOST of it intact. I understand there will obviously be a few problems (or many depending on the map), was just hoping that if somehow the map was converted, it wouldn't become a completely useless unrecognizable, terrible lighted piece of wanky junk. .
  17. Good evening young jedi and sith. I was playing on Alzoc3_enclave, and I later I found out that the author of the map no longer has the .map file, which means no improvement or change could ever be made to this map again. This applies the same with many other JKA maps. But it seems strange. You can load the map ingame, with all switches, textures, models, etc. Is it in any way possible, to dump the map? And somehow...I dunno, reuse the bsp? I've always been curious about this. Because if not, well.... THE JEDI ARE TAKING OVAH!!!!!!!
  18. Problem with buying games on steam is, what if steam has a problem? Then you won't be able to access your games. My friend couldn't play JKA 3 days ago because it kept crashing (and yes, he also ran the game from the root directory in the steamapps folder). He restarted steam and it fixed the problem. Steam literally tangles with your games. I understand having to get certain games like Garrys Mod with steam, but if you can avoid it, you should.
  19. @@Nicotine Caffeine Ah I can get to run just fine on windows 7 but...my graphics were severely messed up. Basically, all the playermodels were rotated on a 90 degree angle, and were 5 meters away where they should have been. Everything else worked fine.
  20. I've attempted to play kotor 4 times on this laptop over the past 2 years. Failed each time. One day, I will be able to play it.
  21. Found a cool emulator called RetroArch. Is another emulator for many consoles (snes, N64, playstation), but can run on linux, mac, pc, playstation 3, ipad, etc.

There's some really good N64 emulators out there, some of them oddly are found on Android devices (of all places)

Of course I've tried project64 xD. I've been using N64 emulators since 2007.
