  1. Man, do I love that mask. Always felt like they make everything better, that's why I always played as a Kel'dor.
  2. I don't know much about coding, but the level 4 of mindtrick on the base game was designed for controlling droids. At least, that's how it worked in Jedi Outcast, where in some instances you controlled an R4 unit and a mouse droid. In those instances, when you jumped you stopped controlling the droid and could keep playing as kyle. Those instances didn't have a timer either, and I believe that if you use mind trick 4 on JA, it will work in a similar fashion. So that makes me think that maybe the code is incomplete?
  3. Is it odd that I am not expecting any new game at all? There's a lot of things in modern gaming that made games as a whole lost appeal to me. I'd rather keep playing Jedi Academy and Battlefront I with friends, than be hyped for some new product.

  5. Sounds nice, but I've got a couple questions. Would there be any difference between the powers that you suggest and the different levels of mind trick? I mean, what's the difference between Mind trick level 3 and Force Hate? If you want a suggestion for a force power, maybe you could try to add the ability to levitate NPCs without hurting them. Like Grip, but without doing any damage. Good luck with your quest!

  7. This is one of my favorite projects. What's not to love? There's space, big spaceships, small spaceships, it's a great idea!

  9. Those are weapons from the mod named Jedi Knight Galaxies which isn't being updated anymore. As for the server.cfg for ja+, I'm afraid I can't help since I don't have it.
  10. Reboot is the first television CGI series of all time. I only have weird memories of it and I'm suprised it still has young fans. Still, I think this thread is getting off the rails. Back in the day there was a lot of people doing models for animated TV shows that had nothing to do with Jedi Knight. There was a GIR model from Invader Zim, a Samus model from Metroid, a Homer Simpson model, a Mario Bros model, etc. But back in the day there was a lot of active people in the modding community. The chances of someone doing a request from an old TV show (be it MLATR or Reboot) is pretty narrow. Still, there's nothing wrong with doing requests, you just have to bear in mind that chances are they will not be fulfillied.
  11. I find the art direction to be quite curious. Jedi have always been space samurai, which has to do with the fact that Lucas was heavily inspired by kurosawa films. The art direction in The Clone Wars series showed us the armor of the ancient Sith lords to be heavily inspired by ancient chinese warriors, which makes an historial paralel between those factions. Now, with what little I've read about the new trilogy, it seems there's a lot of feudal medieval inspiration. Now planetary systems seem to be governed by different faction leaders and the knights of ren look like medieval knights. Kylo Ren's helmt looks a lot like a star warsified Crusader's helmet.

  13. I've seen some conept art for the knights of ren that resemble gothic knights from the late medieval period: So maybe there will be more helmet designs to model from if someone wants to do a Knights of Ren helmet, right?

  19. Yes, yes, yes, and more yes! New vehicles are the best thing that can happen! I always thought the mechanical side of star wars was neglected in the Jedi Knight games (though the AT-ST missions were always fun) so it's great to see you working on these

  22. I'm about to say just some nonsense, but I wished there were weapons that actually stunned instead of kill. Even though it's a game, I really dislike taking the life of other people (if you can call them people, since they're non-existant). I usually try to use non-lethal ways to advance through games, that's why I really liked that one stealth part in JO, and it was a bummer to see that the stun baton was lethal.
  23. Everything I've read about it makes me think it will not be as fun as the other two games, I don't like EA and their dirty bussiness practices. I don't see many reasons to want to play this game.
  24. You have too many .veh files on your base folder. There was a little mod called 99 vehicles that allowed you to have more vehicle .npc files https://www.dropbox.com/s/v2blb1dmi7xyqju/99-vehicles.zip?dl=0 I must warn you, however, that if you have this file on your base folder you won't be able to play with other mods.
