Played a similar game two days ago, while getting drunk: took a shot every time LightningBoltForever said "But uhm" in one of his videos (it was a Quake video in that case), exactly like in the "How I Met Your Mother" episode "Jenkins". Works very well with him

I get what you mean, Langerd. Alcohol and drugs may seem like a solution to many problems, but most of the time such problems are created by a dependency to those kind of substances.

Um. You can drink alcohol without getting drunk. Its really not that hard, unless youre an alcoholic. lol

What Circa said, beer goes well with many dishes.

I have ..ekhm pumpkins (dont want to spoil ekhm) and they work in mp. What is exactly Your problem with the models?

Whenever I try to put any of those models in a MP map as misc_model_statics, it spits me back at the main menu saying "misc_model_static failed to load <model>". If I put them as misc_models, they appear completely untextured (gray and white texture). It's weird because they work fine in SP. Could that have something to do with the fact that I didn't set a .md3 name when exporting them? Aside from that, the Babies are fine.

Look in the shaders or try a normal texture without a shader (check the console). If i remember correctly shaders for MD3 that are model_static use diffrent shaders than the normal brushes or misc_models. Misc models and brushes uses the same shaders - misc model static need diffrent ones..

Try doing some meditation (in safe and peaceful surroundings) before heading to sleep. Clear everything from your mind, and concentrate on breathing and feeling, and the space inside and out.

Absurd amounts of alcohol fixed me up. Must've lost too much energy, although it was for a good reason. Feeling a lot better today.

I've used substance on low polys before and it seems to work.

@Seven of course it works, yes you can paint on the model - but without data from a highpoly mesh you essentially cut off its legs.

You don't paint the high poly in susbtance Painter anyway, you paint the lowpoly but before doing so you transfer or "bake" the surface information, or just "details" from the high poly to the low poly, this allows you to use the full potential of Substance Painter which lies in the Procedural Generation of Textures based at surface information.

I've been off jkhub watching the insanity continue to unfold in the world. Very depressing...

Why focus on the negatives? There are tons of things you can do that will preoccupy your time.

Still was far from perfect & needed a decent coder's attention to finish implementation. At the very least, you can get quake 3-style ladders.

If there's maps that are designed to use ladders well, it's a good idea. As it stands though, ladders are kinda pointless when you can just jump to the surface.

would be nice if some NPC classes could use ladders to continue persuing you
