Ashura's Clone trooper

finally V1 of my clonemodel is released!
clicking the download button will reveal 3 files:
ashuras_clones.zip - the best looking version of the model - requires OpenJK to be used in Singleplayer, if you don't use OpenJK your game will crash.
ashuras_clones_lowres.zip - a less detailed, lower poly version of the model with half size textures that works in base JKA Singleplayer
ashuras_clone_resources.zip - interesting for those who want to create new skins from scratch, it holds my baked maps - a tutorial on how to utilise them will come soon

Jedi Knight CAT Rig for 3ds Max 2013+
This is something that I've been working on since like 2017. But I finally got around to rebuilding this thing for the third time - this time properly and with all bones for Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast and even Soldier of Fortune 2.
Most of you are probably like "What the Hell is this?", so let me explain:
What is CAT and what can I do with it?
CAT Is a very versatile Rigging and Animation System for 3ds Max. It allows you to quickly and comfortably make high quality Animations, after setting up a Rig that is equally quick to build. This Video (and this Channel in General) explain what CAT is and what it can do really well:
This rig comes in a 3ds max scene with the original Jedi Knight Game bones constrained to it. This means that when you move any part of the rig, the bones of the character move accordingly. It is also organized in layers and comes with a couple of useful premade selection sets to streamline animating and exporting your animations to the game.
How do I use it?
To export animations and get them ingame you will need the Jedi Academy SDK Repack and the dotXSI Exporter for your version of 3ds max. (I linked the exporter for 3ds max 2021 underneath - check the authors other uploads for alternate versions)
When CAN I use it?
The file has already been uploaded and approved here on JKHub and I hope to get a tutorial written up and recorded until next weekend. WC3Tutorial from the JKCommunity Discord, who has been Alpha-Testing the initial Version of the Rig heavily, might beat me to recording a tutorial - if that happens I'll link it here. I'd be happy to hear any questions you might have upfront that might help make the tutorial better and easier to understand.

Ashura'S Saberbuilder
Allright people this is the release of my first(!) Saberbuilder Kit for those who didnt see my thread at filefront forums here'S a short introduction to what it does and how to use it :My saberbuilder allows you to build your own lightsaber hilt from premade parts, save it and then use it in Jedi Academy .There are 331776 possible combinations !
REQUIREMENTS :
-7zip needs to be installed if you want my tool to make a pk3 for you
CONTENTS :
the "utillity" folder
SBAssets.pk3
Examplehilts.pk3
SaberBuilderkit_Template.obj
HOW TO USE IT :
at first download and install 7zip , it's used by my saberbuilder to make a PK3 , once you got it installed put the contents of this . zip archive in your JKA base folder then you should find a folder called utillity in your basefolder open the folder and run saberbuilder.exe , select your saber parts now and give your hilt a name , you may not use spaces ! once you got that done feel free to alter the Blade length and a default sabercolor in SP . When you'Re done with making your hilt it's time to save when you click the save button a "DOS" like box will open ,once it's done close it and exit the saberbuilder , in the utillity folder you'll find a file named Yourhilt.pk3 rename that one if you wish and move it to your basefolder .Run the game and enjoy your saber
for everybody who wants to add one or more saber parts to this pack I've made a template named
Saberbuilerkit_Template.obj , if you want to help me by making me some saberparts please notice this :
- use 8 sides for cylindric parts of your saber hilt not more not less
-the saber parts MUST fit the template , you may have 4 main parts named Emitter,Body,Handle and Pommel
buttons can be placed on your Body and handle parts
-if you make multiple saber parts UV map them to one UV map

MURASAMA (METAL GEAR RISING)

Recreation of Jetstream "Minuano" Sam's High Frequency Blade from Metal Gear Rising
"A notorious blade passed down through generations of the Rodrigues family. Sam had it modified
into a high-frequency blade, enhancing the already astonishing properties of the original metal
and giving it an ominous crimson glow. An explosive charge housed in the scabbard enables a

The sword comes in 3 versions :
Murasama :
Adjusted saber length to match that of the models blade, shorter reach than default
Jedi Academy sabers
Single Player cheat code : saber Murasama_MP1
Murasama (Base JA Length) :
the same as above with a saber lenth of 40, granting you slightly longer reach than
the physical blade would suggest - this makes it the exact same as a base Jedi
Academy saber.
Single Player cheat code : saber Murasama_MP2
Murasama (3x dmg) :
Not available in the Multiplayer saber menu, only acquireable via the cheatcode in
Single Player.
Single Player cheat code : saber Murasama
IMPORTANT! :
(1): before you attempt to use any of these cheatcodes, make sure that cheats are enabled,
to enable cheats enter : "helpusobi 1" OR "devmap all"
(2): For those who have OpenJK with the rend2 beta installed, I've included rend2 materials

JKA Max Vert Calculator
A small calculator to help determine the max amount of vertices for your playermodel before you start seeing the famous "ran out of transform space" error.
Choose the game executable you are using to check against their transform spaces or enter the transform space for your custom game executable if you are running a mod that changes this value.
The calculation works as follows:
'max verts' = ('transform space' - 4 * ('playermodel surface count' + 'weapon surface count')) / 20) - 'weapon vertex count'
Included is the raw *.py python script, aswell as a packed *.exe for those that prefer simplicity and ease of use.
If anybody wants to modify this script to work in blender go ahead ?

Push Power Changer Utillity
I know a lot of people use set g_knockback to increase the power of their force push but what allways pissed me of at that code was that it effected kicks and weapons too.
Now this has come to an end !
I wrote a small program that allows you to change the power of your force push without effecting other things but sadly it doesnt overwrite JA's original force push so you have to use a cheatcode or my small program to bind the "new" force push to a button
How to use :
start the program and click the "how to" Button it'll give you all further information you need

Ashura's Turntable

Since I grew tired of the frequent False advertising I did with my fancy renders, but still wanted to be able to make nice presentation pics of my sabers for JKA i was looking for a way to do just that. And after a discussion with Rooxon about making an invisible playermodel for said purpose an Idea was born:
I present you a simple turntable character, it uses custom animations in conjunction with saber stances to display your weapons at different angles and makes them spin around.
I included a Turntable.sbsar file which is basically a parametric material that allows you to create your own texture variations via a few sliders and input texture maps
to use it you must install substance Player, which you can get for free here: https://www.allegorithmic.com/download/download_free/6
I also included a max scene that only requires you to replace and weight a model to the bones, then export as root.xsi and compile like a playermodel using my new gla instead of _humanoid.gla
spawn/playermodel code is simply turntable
"playermodel turntable"
will trasnform your character into this table and display your currently equipped weapon

Dragon Lord Saberhilt

I felt like making a new saberhilt , been a while sicne I made the last one o.o , and this is what I came up with :
the "Dragon Lord" twin-blade saberhilt !
this was something I had in mind for a long time
I allways wanted to make a great looking saberhilt with a dragonhead-shaped emitter
and I allways wanted to remakeo ne of my first saberhilts , the twinblade hilt
for this particular hilt I ended up combining both ideas so I hope you like it and have fun ;D

Bryar Blaster Pistol JKA/JK2

Well, I made a thing. A pretty Thing.
This my rendition of Kyle Katarns Signature blaster, based at it's appeareance in the live action-cutscenes from Dark Forces 2.
I originally made this for the DF2 mod which will feature a PBR version of this model but decided to release a version for the base game
aswell.
This weapon works in both games JKA and JK2 and comes with an optional .pk3 to swap the blaster pistol model in JKA for the bryar model.

Rorschach (Watchmen)

A character I wanted to model for a while, but kept putting off because I had no clue how to make his mask, his "face", work as it's supposed to. When I found a way to do it I just had to jump right into modeling!
For those who do not know Rorschach:
"Rorschach (born Walter Joseph Kovacs) is a fictional character and an antihero of the acclaimed 1986 graphic novel miniseries Watchmen, published by DC Comics.
While the series has an ensemble cast, some consider Rorschach to be the protagonist as he drives most of the plot forward.[1][2][3] In the beginning of the story, he is introduced as the only remaining active masked vigilante not employed by the government. A ruthless crime-fighter, his beliefs in moral absolutism—good and evil with no shades of grey—have driven him to seek to punish evil at all costs. Rorschach's mask displays a constantly morphing inkblot based on the ambiguous designs used in Rorschach inkblot tests, with the mask's black and white coloring consistent with Rorschach's sense and view of morality." Assassins Creed weaponspack

most of the weapons altair used in Assassins Creed
started (and stopped) working at this summer 2010
this pack includes 6 weapons :
throwing knives - replacement for the blasterpistol menu icon and info texts have been changed aswell all default languages supported
Altair's hiddenblade - saberhilt , bolted to wrist deals a ton of damage but has a very limited range
Altair's Shortsword - saberhilt ,because of it's short range the damage has been set up
Altair's Shortsword 2 - saberhilt , backhand version of the above weapon
Al Mualims sword - saberhilt, the first sword you get in Assassins creed 1
Altair's Sword -saberhilt, the second sword you get in Assassins creed 1
all of these weapons got blood splatter effects , which I adopted from antother author I forgot who made this blood effects so I'm sorry for nto being able to give "perfect" credit =/

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS FOR V2 :
-I've added the Sith Stalker lightsaber hilt
-a regular sinle saber version of Galens lightsaber was added
-File size has been reduced by converting the TGA textures to JPEG/PNG files

Heyya guys here's V2 of my Minecraft model
this time with official minecraft textures as we , DVG94 and me , finally got the permission to use Mojangs textures for our mod
"The Creatures Game".
I've added and fixed a lot of stuff for v2 ,
so here's a compelte list of all Changes/Additions :

Bantha-II-Cargo Skiff
I finally finished my skiff vehicle for Academy to spawn it open the cheat console , activate cheats and type :
"npc spawn vehicle skiff"
Please notice that using the skiff_anims.pk3 file will make swoops and other vehicles that use the swoop animation ridiculous while only this skiff profits from the aniamtion replacement - this makes it also incompatible with any other animation mods
