minilogoguy18 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I really need to get zBrush, not really liking Mudbox despite it's simpler interface, pixols offer so much more flexibility over polygons.

ChalklYne Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Are you going to load up a Maul pic into zbrush and use the eyedropper to select accurate colors or just kinda eyeball it?
Tempust85 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Eyeball it most likely, I can always tweak the diffuse later on. ChalklYne likes this
Bane_Ross Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 It looks great! Although, it kind of looks like the tip of the nose is angled up a bit too much. It bugs me. A while ago I found an image of a sculpture of Maul's head that someone was making, and it's incredibly accurate. Maybe it'll help? Bek and Tempust85 like this

minilogoguy18 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 That would make for a really good rotoscope pic.

Tempust85 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Lol @@Circa & @@Agent_Ross thanks. I won't go into super fine details such as skin pores as it won't be seen in JKA even with normal maps. Speaking of which, I'll be making two versions: one with normal maps (rend2) and one without (vanilla). Guess which one will look the best. negru_tudor, Circa, Bane_Ross and 1 other like this
Psyk0Sith Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Soften the corners of the mouth, the mouth is an O shape folded on itself, so no triangle shapes!. negru_tudor likes this
Tempust85 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 It was made with no triangles, must have been squished a bit when sculpting and didn't realise lol. Thanks for pointing it out. Side note: Why does everyone find these cool pics of Ray Park/Maul when I hunted google and found 1 or 2..... *sucks at google Bane_Ross and negru_tudor like this
