    Forgive me if I'm incorrect here but I remember reading somewhere that Raven got a third party to do quite a lot of their maps and only a few were actually done by themselves. Is this true and if so, is there any difference in quality e.g. caulking where needed?

    I remember when I was uploading the files to JKHub, it was slightly frustrating that IPB doesn't determine the filesize for linked files... there is a way around it though but at the time I was uploading 800 files XD so I avoided it. Basically, you need to upload the file to the website, then delete it, then link to it... rather than just linking.

    I must say I liked this a lot, however the floor texture on the main areas on mp/ffa3 is really terrible in my opinion... at least for a replacement. Looks very much out of place

    In terms of Steam, is it at all possible to patch people with any upgrades via that? Or will a standalone installer be used that covers both the CD version and Steam version?

    I still have the original discs but I made them into virtual images, much easier to manage and my disc 1 was becoming more and more scratched by the day

    I decided to make a new chat icon since I've never been too fond of JKA's original. Big thanks to @Ruxith for making it animated with shaders came out great. Simply extract the pk3 to your japlus folder or your base folder, whichever you prefer. Apologies about the poor quality of the gif below... imgur tends to make everything lesser quality... it IS transparent as well. Edit - Also, the gif below is a little inaccurate now as of the latest version, it displays no dots, then 1, 2, 3 and repeats rather than always having 1 dot.

    Yeah that's what Slider said... and it's basically not true setting it to 0 does not deactivate it. As far as I know, amslap is the only cvar that is affected by this admin abuse prevention.

    It's not that bad. Personally I don't like .. any of the apps I've tried to use with Windows 8 so far but the system itself is much more stable/faster than Win7 from my experience. I followed Caels advice on installing Start8, which reintroduces the traditional Start Menu whilst keeping Metro around if you need it. In terms of Windows 9, I think it'll become much more app based... the traditional windows will be slowly faded out but I doubt that'll be done over the next few versions.

    Went through all the logs, uhh I found it but I don't think it applies to this problem specifically.. the bug I heard about allows a player to keep force powers on a map change that disables force. Sorry

    I'm aware of the force changing bug, I believe I mentioned it to Raz about 4-5 months ago. I believe the changing of force powers occurs at the scoreboard when the time limit/frag limit is hit, something is done and the next game has the applied force powers. I'll dig through our logs over the year and find the explanation that was given to me. Will edit/post when found.
