  1. Tonight I learned about Jedi Knight: Enhanced. I'm very excited about this news!!!

  2. That's fixed in all my stances within reason. Some hilts are thicker/thinner than others. Yeah, damned if I do, damned if I don't. I think I will fix it though. Since it's a small adjustment and it seems people also make their sabers look good in the dual style. Let me know about what is necessary for holsters. I'll work on some of the things that are still on my to do list. Any chance we'll be getting dual pistols? Long time ago Eez asked me about those.
  3. The feet turning are not used with player models in sp. I'm not sure what enabling would do to the new animations, but I think everything from the waist would be ok. Just like how it is with the legup positions. I've been bad and haven't even booted up my laptop in months. First training for the tournament and then Dark Souls 2 have kept me away. I may have to give myself a goal of at least one animation a week. Most of these are easy so if I get in the groove I should crank them out. Here's another question: should I correct the hand tag positions? For whatever reason the default stances have messed up hand tags. Some authors took this into account when they tagged their saber models. I adjusted for this in my custom stances, but that seems like a lazy fix. If you want to easily see what I mean give yourself two of the default single sabers. Then look at the right saber. Take notice of where it is gripped and then switch to the single style. The character grips it stupidly at the bottom. Also noticeable in the default run position when compared to a single stance.
  4. The only downside to modifying the .sab files it this isn't going to mesh with some of the user made sabers. I've known this for a while and was trying to think up a solution to this before posting, but I haven't been able to. All the mission stuff and force power bonuses sound good. I've made some npc changes to my own game. I gave most of the saber users heal 3 so they could heal like I could. I make sure none of the main saber wielding opponents have rage 1 since that leaves them with 1 hp.
  5. For some reason I don't really want to see any of those. They could all make sense depending on your mod though.

  7. Last weekend I won my first fencing tournament!! I'll make a thread shortly with some of the vids.

      I'm looking for a Jedi church to go fight at! I have plenty of sabers. It's no more difficult then any other martial art. You get what you put in. Mostly blue when out of range and yellow when I go offense. I can't bring myself to go red stance.

  9. The armor on the shoulders looks like it would hit the torso armor and restrict movement. Not a huge issue for the game really, but just thought I'd point it out. The belt comments are also good. Great work all around!

  12. The first time I found out about mods. This was the first time I ever heard of such a thing. I was looking for cheat codes online and saw a grappling hook mod. I was all like 'WTF? there is no grappling hook in this game.' A hop, skip, and a jump and I found myself on Massassi.net. OMG! It is possible to change the game! Sidenote: Saber Battle X was the best mod ever! That was where I started tweaking code and animations.
  13. One little critique. Could you put the buckles on the outside of the leg? On the inside they would rub against each other and catch on each other. When I go to fencing I make sure my knee and elbow straps are on the outside for this reason. It is the same for baseball catcher's leg guards too.
  14. I agree with @@Circa. I don't use the bowcaster normally. I only use it in two scenarios: 1. a full charged shot into a Reborn right was they are swinging at the player can kill the weaker two. Any other Reborn will survive the shot. 2. Sniping headshots on unaware npcs. If it is in level 3 then two stages without it are ok. Or you could put it in as a secret, but not put any ammo in the stages. So the player has a limited use of it until they pick it up later.

  17. You might be able to find one of the blonde head on some reddish robes. One was done on the void years ago. I think it was released. If it was I may have grabbed it. I'll try and remember to look through all my files.
  18. In case ya'll haven't noticed I haven't been on lately. Work finally blocked the site. So it's Thursday nights and some weekends. I can still get lucasforums if you need me.

Only thing is I don't do cutscene animations. Tried once. Fell to the Dark Side. Bad Times. Any gameplay focused animations I'll see what I can do.
  20. He's doing a head swap mechanic in his sp mod. I was joking that modellers should add a bit of variety to their models and let people use the customization menu. It's a great feature in JA!
  21. Really the best idea would be to make one body with different outfits and make the appropriate heads. That way we could make a menu that would allow us to select custom parts for a character. Like have a Obi head, a Qui-gon head, etc Then maybe a way to separate the body into multiple parts. At least two would be good.
  22. I remember those at the comic shop. Yeah I thought they were cool too. The Darth Maul in training gear, not so much.

  24. I tried using a build once, but couldn't get it to work. Is there a link to a readme somewhere or is there one included now?
