  2. Another good 'ladder' style map is "Bobo's Jedi Trainer". It goes on a long time. It's not really supposed to be beaten I think. More play until you get tired. I beat it last week finally using quick saves. Took awhile even with more powerful sabers and dismemberment from OJP Basic.
  3. I agree with Raz0r. Even though I never played online I never understood the fuss with admin commands. If someone uses it too much let the server owner know. If it is them or they don't care then play somewhere else.
  4. I like the style, but DT85's right about the proportions. It does look more like a cg trooper than a human in trooper armor. Strangly I still think it looks cool.

  6. The player's are in models/players/_humanoid. If you want to see the number of animation sequences open the animation.cfg with note pad. It's daunting. Rancors and such have their own skeleton and animations.
  7. It sometimes doesn't work for me either. I tried to give the TFU version of Sith Stalker my backhand animations and it just didn't work. I pulled out my notes to double check things. I even attached them to another model to make sure it wasn't me making the mistake.
  8. @@Boothand, try increasing your force powers too. Maybe the system takes offense and defense powers into account. You were fighting boss characters without force.
  9. I think you'd have to change every asset. Have you looked at how many animation sequences there are? We had a project on here about making a fans version of JA or JO, but it was the idea of making that many animations that ultimately killed the idea.
  10. If we are worried about protecting the hub then why is there going to be a poll? Wouldn't the staff have to do what is necessary to protect the site no matter what we want?
  11. I've never tried a custom animation path modified model in mp, but I've heard it doesn't work. Just download a model that has it done already and test it out. My Galen with dual backhands has a custom path, as does Toshi's Yoda.

  13. I've never seen Tavion from the back with that detail, so I didn't know she wore a thong on the outside of her pants. Seriously, a thong and garters Over pants?
  14. Is it possible to use the original JA saber system? I like a lot of the features listed, but what if I don't like the new saber system?

  19. I miss my old logitech. It wasn't fancy but it felt wonderful. My newest one is fine, but not the same.

  22. I read it. Make your map first then. If you do that and get your partner to start making skins then you could impress a coder to join you. If you can't get a map and skin in basic JA then there is no reason to believe you can do so in a new JK4 game. If you can't map and your partner can't skin then there is nothing a coder could do to help you. Right now it sounds like you plan to map a single map and then start telling others what to do. No one wants to work in that environment FYI. As far as 'stealing your ideas' you'll have to make your code available to the public under GPL. Unless I misunderstand that.
  23. I couldn't get it to work last night. I got an error saying that it was missing MSVCP100.dll.
  24. Just so you know. Every modder here just read: "I don't know how to mod. I just want someone to do the work for me. My buddy can do photoshop, but he hasn't even reskinned a model yet." Our response is going to be: First try to make a mod of some type that doesn't require a coder. If you are the level designer then you need to make a map that utilizes scripts so you have knowledge to contribute and a better way to articulate what you need a coder to do. Your partner needs to start with some reskins. Choose an easy model to reskin like the Anakin model, Kyle, or a Reborn. Once you can show you've learned how to contribute then a coder may be interested it contributing to your mod.
