the other day watching ESB I noticed in the junk disposal room with the ugnaughts (where chewie recovers C-3PO) that there was droid identical to 4-LOM. If Boba fett took out Ig-88b maybe he got 4-LOM aswell.

There is a drawing tablet right next to me, I have no idea how to use it, but i could give it a shot. From what i have heard from this forum and around is that it is the best way to achieve precision in certain aspects. I do a lot of art but none digital. I don't really count my current skin work as art... more likely unsettling obsession.

Thinking of doing a tutorial on texture baking and high poly to low poly in blender.combining these techniques will allow some great and optimised alternatives to porting as well as a gateway drug to modelling your own unique stuff

Yeah I totally agree with your point. as I am learning more I think what took me so long to learn is the wealth of information without specifics until I've learned the terminology for what I am trying to do.These two techniques are a great way to go from someone who ports to someone who creates.I hope to encourage that for at least the goal of getting models released that have less ported content (just the texture) and optimised for jka.I am not the best but learning these two techniques...

This is a test from my own build I thought I'd share, it is Boba Fett's HUD. includes a rangefinder (Bind zoom to a key) includes scope (bind la_zoom to a key) It is intended for first person view with guns. built from rchud. this is just a beta for people to play with, final will be a completely new file, not using others work to build off all credits to Darth Norman for the original. https://www.dropbox....zzz_fetthud.zip

Felt it was going for a more realistic approach with MB2 and It definately had some great content but It's not quite balanced right in some ways, I think the attempts to match classes where a little towards what is cool rather than realistic or practical. I Really liked some classes and If there was modes without the timelimit I'd be able to convince my housemates to lan it with me.

Watching Mugs map tutorials from his link.I had difficulty mapping a long time ago,probably my first install and I only had the radiant tutorial that most people used, I couldn't quite grasp it then when I had errors with lighting which I suspect is a common pitfall when trying to learn along with compiling. but I might try just making a simple room again from scratch after watching this.*downloads radiant and digs for some models assets.

Wow Star Wars rebels was actually pretty good. It felt more like Star Wars than the prequels.
