  1. Just been looking this guy up and down in Modview. Amazing model, perfect capture of live-action Maul.
  2. That's a very nice effort indeed @@Jeff ! How many more gems like that do you have hidden away, haha.
  3. Apologies for the delay folks - Issue Three was ready to go over a week ago but I suffered an extended loss of Internet. Eep! All fixed now though. Issue Three is now uploaded on the site! Let me know what you think. EDIT: Direct link here
  4. Coming soon: Volume Four Issue Three - Butcher of the Outer Rim:
  5. I thought this too at first, so looked it up on the Wook before giving him the lightsaber - he got his purple crystal at age fourteen
  6. Good suggestion! I'll get onto that.
  7. Full version of Issue Two - The False Champion - is now on the site in my sig! Thoughts and feedback appreciated.
  8. Sweet!! Rebels need more love.
  9. Ki-Adi-Mundi is my favourite of the 'supporting' Jedi characters so this is definitely a surprise treat! Excellent stuff.
  10. I didn't realise it was so straightforward, would you be willing to make a slightly more in-depth post on the process aimed at someone who has never used Blender before? (i.e. would need instruction on how exactly to parent/unparent certain model parts, etc).
  11. The basic process involves importing the .glms of the models into a modelling program (like Blender), reassembling the parts you need, then re-weighing the whole model.
  12. Preview for Issue Two under the spoiler tab:
  13. Awesome stuff, as always.
  14. An alternative method would be to have the backpack or whatever accessory set up as it's own .glm file and then tag it to the clonetrooper's body. I believe 'chestg' is the tag surface that jetpacks are bolted to, not sure. This is how the game attaches jetpacks, sabers, guns, etc to your character whenever you're in game - by bolting a separate item to a part of the character model, such as the back or the right hand, etc.
  15. Well I have the main storyline already planned out in my mind - the major points anyway. But there is plenty of room for suggestions on subplots, standalone issues or even just cameos people would like to see.
  16. Thanks. This is definitely just the beginning in terms of plot direction. This issue and the following one will mostly be about introducing the new characters (and reintroducing a few old ones), establishing their roles, before we hit full steam on the main storyline.
  17. Glad you like it, @@NumberWan . I tried to take my cue with the design for Elecria from the sketches on the fanon Wiki, so am pleased to hear you think the result was fairly accurate!
  18. Volume Four - Issue One - The New Frontier is now uploaded to the site in my signature: Feedback always welcome.
  19. Wyrrlok is very unassuming when compared to some of the more grandiose Sith armour designs we've seen in the EU, I agree.
  20. Hopefully this is a little more helpful:
  21. There was a fairly good Imperial Knight model floating around one of the old roleplay servers - I think it was Legacy? No idea if anybody has it these days though.
  22. Cheeky bump since we seem to have a couple of new modellers about these days.
  23. Yum, shall be following this with interest.
  24. You can legally pay someone for the time/service of making the model. What you can't do is then take the finished 'product' and sell it on to others. This is how fan film actors can be paid for their projects, for example. They're being reimbursed for their time/services, but the product itself (the film) isn't then sold on commercially. That said, JKA seems to have gone this far without resorting to this sort of thing - is it worth changing that now?
  25. A private project, I believe. I don't believe it is intended for public release (same with his Grievous model).
