  1. Ki-Adi-Mundi is my favourite of the 'supporting' Jedi characters so this is definitely a surprise treat! Excellent stuff.
  2. I didn't realise it was so straightforward, would you be willing to make a slightly more in-depth post on the process aimed at someone who has never used Blender before? (i.e. would need instruction on how exactly to parent/unparent certain model parts, etc).
  3. The basic process involves importing the .glms of the models into a modelling program (like Blender), reassembling the parts you need, then re-weighing the whole model.
  4. Preview for Issue Two under the spoiler tab:

    Awesome stuff, as always.
  6. An alternative method would be to have the backpack or whatever accessory set up as it's own .glm file and then tag it to the clonetrooper's body. I believe 'chestg' is the tag surface that jetpacks are bolted to, not sure. This is how the game attaches jetpacks, sabers, guns, etc to your character whenever you're in game - by bolting a separate item to a part of the character model, such as the back or the right hand, etc.
  7. Well I have the main storyline already planned out in my mind - the major points anyway. But there is plenty of room for suggestions on subplots, standalone issues or even just cameos people would like to see.
  8. Thanks. This is definitely just the beginning in terms of plot direction. This issue and the following one will mostly be about introducing the new characters (and reintroducing a few old ones), establishing their roles, before we hit full steam on the main storyline.
  9. Glad you like it, @@NumberWan . I tried to take my cue with the design for Elecria from the sketches on the fanon Wiki, so am pleased to hear you think the result was fairly accurate!
  10. First issue of Tales From The Clone Wars Volume Four now on the site! http://talesfromtheclonewars.net/

Windu has a lot of former Padawans...

      Anyway, your work looks awesome!

He doesn't have as many as you might think! Only two in (former) canon. Though he has has tutored plenty of other apprentices on a temporary basis, as a member of the Council.

Glad you know about some of his other Padawans though, they'll both feature in future issues too...

      Oh my god yes!

  11. Volume Four - Issue One - The New Frontier is now uploaded to the site in my signature: Feedback always welcome.
  12. Wyrrlok is very unassuming when compared to some of the more grandiose Sith armour designs we've seen in the EU, I agree.
  13. There was a fairly good Imperial Knight model floating around one of the old roleplay servers - I think it was Legacy? No idea if anybody has it these days though.
  14. Cheeky bump since we seem to have a couple of new modellers about these days.
  15. Yum, shall be following this with interest.
  16. You can legally pay someone for the time/service of making the model. What you can't do is then take the finished 'product' and sell it on to others. This is how fan film actors can be paid for their projects, for example. They're being reimbursed for their time/services, but the product itself (the film) isn't then sold on commercially. That said, JKA seems to have gone this far without resorting to this sort of thing - is it worth changing that now?
  17. A private project, I believe. I don't believe it is intended for public release (same with his Grievous model).
  18. I went back and did a page one rewrite of the script for Volume Four, so that's knocked back 'production' somewhat. In fact, the rewrite has given a bigger role to your Elecrian species over the course of the whole volume, rather than just being the setting for the initial issues.
  19. Very nice stuff. When this is released I'd really like to try my hand at a Bo-Katan reskin of that female Mandalorian model.
  20. Not sure if it would look very good though, great as it would be.
  21. Just realised Depa Billaba is also not in the game yet, but I'm going to work on a skin for her. I think I've found a good model for her.
  22. Dayum! I hoped to go through life without ever saying this but...that fat old man looks nice!
  23. Yaddle and Even Piell don't have models, but they do exist as Yoda reskins. The Yaddle one is pretty actually good: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Yaddle_Remastered;98661 And yes, the animations for Rancisis would be too much work for too little gain, so I don't expect a fully rigged model for him to ever materialise. As for which pose to have him in - sat down with his tail curled around him would be ideal, yes. Though having the chair as part of the model wouldn't be necessary, to allow mappers to use him with more flexibility (i.e. they can choose to place him on Council chair, or on a meditation pad, etc).
