That's actually the reason it didn't occur to me to want to play as him. Someone who in most people's opinion should be a cut above the rest would take away from the experience. That said, I realise I'm the sort of player who prefers to play the early game to the late game with most things. I would have liked Luke to be more involved in a level like Korriban though, just as Kyle is by your side on Vjunn. I came very close to making a standalone level starring jedi/j2!

I'm genuinely surprised that Luke Skywalker got the popular vote on this one. My credits were on Alora and Rosh Penin!

Taking Mod Suggestions For YouTube Mod Showcase Series!
MagSul replied to DashStar's topic in General Modding Discussions
Deception Eve of Redemption New Beginning Dark Forces Mod Crash On Tatooine Movie Duels 2 I would provide links but that is really difficult through my phone. They're all single player campaign mods that come to mind. -
I didn't cheat! I only had Force Jump, Pull and Saber Offense/Defense 1. I nearly died more than once! I quite enjoyed playing through that. You should attach some scripts to it! A snippet of dialogue here or there could make a big difference. Or maybe pre-setting the powers we can use and having to find our lightsaber. I hope you produce more things like this.

We have 2 new staff members Following on from our last news post we have two new members of staff! Both Wolfeye and myself have recently had our applications accepted and are now looking forward to giving it our all and providing a helping hand alongside Circa, AshuraDX and Caelum. For those who aren't familiar with us: Wolfeye began with JKA in December 2013 as a 1.00 player. He was the founder of Random Clan, and he co-founded the Phantom Academy with Frost. Wolfeye then went on to join the Shadow Order in October of 2016 after Random disbanded, and then left in the April of 2017. He's currently the leader of the clan known as Tempest, and the lead admin for the JKCommunity Discord server, which Caelum insists on re-emphasizing is a third-party that's completely unrelated to JKHub. As for me: I've been playing JKA online since 2006, but my consistent home for many years was the ::JEDI:: role-playing community, where I played a variety of characters at varying ranks. I began my career in JKHub when Caelum first recruited me alongside others such as Azatha, SiLink, Inyri and Szico. I stepped down after a while and invested a lot more of my time in ::JEDI:: again and developing my own mods, such as a new single player campaign which can be found here on the site! I eventually found my way to the Shadow Order and with some more time on my hands, have volunteered to give back to the JKHub community once again. This does also mean that staff applications are now closed for the time being. However, should we find ourselves short-handed in the future or in need of additional support, we'll be right back! Special thanks to everyone who applied: even if we didn't pick you, there were some very strong other candidates, and we really appreciate your applications. JKHub 2.0 (Demo) Did you miss Caelum's shoutout? Those of you with keen eyes my have spotted a few mentions of his work in moving JKHub over to new software. Well, you can now access the demo for JKHub 2.0 by visiting https://demo.jkhub.org/! Please keep in mind that this is in a heavy work-in-progress state. Give the link a try for us and share whatever feedback you may have! Several features - including an integrated, modernized wiki are still under construction, so check back every once in a while for cool new additions. The demo will be up until such time JKHub moves to the new software, for which we're now only awaiting some work by a paid third-party developer to import our data. Click here to view the article

Which Star Wars film is the most pleasant to your ears?

That's looking excellent, Jedi_Mediator!

If you send me a .pk3 of your character, I wouldn't mind looking at it.

Your favorite Raven Software game outside of JO and JA ?
MagSul replied to dg1995's topic in Art, Media & Technology
X-Men Legends on the Playstation 2. Great up to 4 player co-op! I still need to finish the map of their subbasement. -
This'll sound really daft, but run the programme in administrator. That's how I always solved that one.
-
There is an over-arching plan, yes. You won't be on Yavin for long!
-
You hit the nail on the head with that! I feel there is a bit too much hand-holding these days. I've got to say though, I admire your ingenuity in solving it. I'm going to edit the NPC slightly so that you can't do that in the next update. But yeah, that's why I disabled the Force swirl.

He's no-one specific! I put together a few combinations of LEGO figures to look like a member of each class from SW:TOR. That was my generic smuggler. ^.^ Jedi Consular & Smuggler Sith Inquisitor & Sith Warrior Bounty Hunter, Republic Trooper (an official set, not me tinkering), Jedi Knight, Imperial Agent And @@Caelum, because why wouldn't you have a LEGO figure for his old JA skin? It actually wasn't long after making those that I got the starship in the background which came with the official figures anyway. xD

I found a few pictures from an old DeviantArt Profile I used to have on a USB stick and decided to share the Star Wars ones.
-
I was anticipating a Holiday Special comment, not that! Star Wars: Ewoks and Star Wars: Droids were television series, weren't they?
-
So, the next installment in SW animated series?
MagSul replied to the_raven's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
I thought that they were following up Rebels with this: http://www.fortressofsolitude.co.za/star-wars-resistance-animated-series/ It makes sense, they've done the prequels and original trilogy eras. -
Noted! Thank you. I'll look into that. EDIT: This has now been fixed and will be included with any other immediately required fixes in the next week or two.

Apparently there was an official Jedi Academy hat
MagSul replied to Circa's topic in Jedi Knight General Discussions
I miss strategy guides. They kind of became obsolete with the internet around. That hat's simple, yet awesome though! -
Request fulfilled. Thank you, those who submitted audio!

This page was last updated on 03 Jan 2021. A New Beginning is a single player mod for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, focused on expanding the story from one of the game's original endings. In the mod, the player can expect a return to humble origins as the new Padawan Learner of Jedi Knight Jaden Korr, now famous for ending the threat of Tavion Axmis on Korriban one year ago. A demo level for the mod was originally released on 28 February 2015, but further updates have been lacking in no small part to my own personal responsibilities and quite simply, time! Recently, time has again permitted more development on the project, though as a one-man team, progress is still somewhat slow. What I'm currently looking for is feedback regarding the Yavin Temple level specifically as I've now deemed it complete! There are new cutscenes and I've kept the original level as a follow-on while I begin working on rebuilding it to be longer and more challenging. Special Thanks to Redsaurus for his amazing tutorials! The Yavin Temple is more of a roam-about level. Like the Jedi Outcast counterpart, you could run straight to the end, however there are rewards for opting to explore. There are a few secret areas within the Yavin Temple level. There's a small guide to them below, so don't look if you want to try and find them yourself! Please, please, please share bugs with me! I can't fix things if I don't know they're broken and believe me, if you stare at something for too long you'll stop looking at it properly. If something's broken there's a good chance that I simply overlooked it. Suggestions are welcome too! Finally, thank you very much for taking the time to read this and play through this content!

Good luck on the project!

That's superb! I particularly like the Hoth turret.
