I have the full pack (not just the update).
-
Err....are you sure youbhave the right model and textures? The glm is perfectly compatible with their textures. See my screenshot. You shouldn't need to type anything as everything is already there. The only thing I did was reorganize the entries a little better (I like to organize the files in 3 sections: head, torso and lower body). To play in regular JA (non-movie duels), you need to rename the files to "model_xyz.skin". At least one file should be named " model_default.skin". In my case I used model_default.skin for Arcann and model_Thexan.skin for Thexan. You also need an icon file matching the file name. For single player you need a skin file for the head, another for the torso and another for the lower body (that's why I like to organize the model skin files this way). You can download any model with SP support and use it as guide to name the files.
-
With any text editor like notepad (I personally use notepad++ becuase of the find/replace in multiple files option)
-
Are you looking in Peneke's pack 1.6???? The folders are there (Arcann with the model, skin files, icons and textures and Thexan folder with some extra textures files). You might need t do some renaming with the icons and skin files.
-
Yeah, when I said I combined them I mean a single folder...in the pack there is a separate "Thexan" folder with some textures, so I moved the textures to the Arcann folder and created the individual skin files/icons for single player. Just need to make the NPCs but that's no big deal.
-
Just download the pack, extract the "players" folder and browse through the models.....I combined them into a single model and individual icons so I can choose either version form the same model.

I added SP Support and Movie Duels 2 Animations to Count Dooku and asked @ permission to share a copy and he said yes, so here it is..... https://mega.nz/#!aRhAnSTb!d_CH44u7aFq6-G--zkEsg-87zH2oFlK2QRtGja5OLwo

Does an alternative Ewok Model exist?
The Punisher replied to ZanderNao's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
I haven't seen more Ewoks since the last chilly cook off.... -

Luke Skywalker in Episode 4 ending jacket
The Punisher replied to Beyond Heretic's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
@@Jeff Made a version, you can find it at https://jkhub.org/topic/5134-jeffs-never-ending-wips/page-11?do=findComment&comment=102904 The model is also included in @@dark_apprentice's Luke pack https://jkhub.org/files/file/2697-luke-skywalker-skin-pack-by-dark-apprentice/ As @@Lancelot said, I am trying to do a newer version (while learning) using parts from @@Scerendo's Poe Dameron (torso/jacket) and @@Seven's Han Solo (hips/boots) and Luke (head) but have problems with the neck, since I am using parts from different models and the parts don't match too well (see post #96 on the page Lancelot pointed). -
I think this is going out of proportion, it was just a simple request. Everybody have valid points and some points...well..... I personally agree with @@Seven. There are models that are legendary on their own like Toshi's models, @@Psyk0Sith's Darth Malgus, @@Scerendo's models (just to name a few) that are so freaking awesome, they shouldn't need replacement. However, there are others that might have looked good back in the old days, but with greater technology/resolution, are starting to show their age (or don't even exists), and would be great to have new or improved versions. We can agree to disagree, but ultimately, it should be each one's choice and we shouldn't be forcing others agree with our personal opinions/preferences, just like we can't stop life from constantly evolving.

Thanks @@Kualan! Your instructions are always simple and to the point! Wish there more small and simple of tutorials like yours (to accomplish more specific tasks).

Cool! Will try and see how far I can get. Thx!

Thanks a lot @@mrwonko! Sounds really interesting, I would really like to try it. How would I accomplish that (or do you know of a tutorial how to accomplish it)? I was looking at a tutorial in Youtube were you select the skeleton and the part and press Ctrl+P, then select Object, then transform with automatic weights (something like that, can't remember the exact steps right now), but when I tried the steps, the skeleton just disappeared. Thanks for the feedback!
-
Thanks @@Kualan, it worked! Movements are still a little bit weird but I guess I weighted some vertex wrong, I'll keep trying, I know is a matter of practice now that you have explained the issue! Any additional feedback is welcome as always!

Agreed. Toshi's Anakin is my favorite (in fact, Toshi's models are legendary).

Thanks a lot Kualan. I didn't wanted to call on anyone in particular but I knew if anybody answered, you would be among them. Reading your feedback, it makes perfect sense. I didn't checked every vertex but thinking about if and putting the pieces together in my mind, makes perfect sense. I will try your suggestions tomorrow and let you know. Any additional feedback for a newbie trying to learn is more than welcome.

HI I am trying to learn the correct weight process and have a few questions and hope someone could help me with the answers. Please keep in mind that I am a total idiot but willing to learn, so please excuse my ignorance and feel free to correct me whenever I say something wrong or use the wrong term. I am adding some parts from some files I found in "obj" format to existing models in an attempt to improve them. For example, I am currently trying to improve the "Hero Armor" version of Starkiller by adding an armor, instead of the "painted" one. While adding the parts, I try to weight it but I believe I am doing it wrong as I am applying the weight to the entire mesh (I think is call mesh?).and the results in game are weird. While comparing to other models, like Toshis Vader, I see only vertex related to the particular bone seem be be weighted. I tried to replicate the same but Blender complains about unweighted vertex Can someone please let me know what I am doing wrong and how to overcome it? Also, sometimes a different Vertex is weighted by accident, is there an easy way to "unweight" that particular vertex? What would be the best approach to apply the weights? Thanks in advance for the help (and patience)

Because he exists..... (noting wrong with Kualan's model)
