ok thank you for the advice @@Cerez , i will try that. Another bug due to their launcher ! The only advantage of the launcher is that you can download their mod in several times, if you have a no stable connexion. But they "lock" modding on their mod since the launcher check files at each update. Difficult to add its own hud/skins/....

I have the same problem than you. Can't play MBII. It seems that it is maybe due to new libraries that are not available for XP, someone told me. http://jkhub.org/topic/6009-finally-found-this-gem/ I tried to force MBII to use OpenJK exe in place of MBII-OpenJK exe but I have no server and when I try to join one (/connect...), it says that my version is bad.

1) Sirens Enclave - I'm in love with this map 2) Alzoc 3 Enclave - Sehkola is very good in making beautiful maps for RP 3) Jedi's home JL II - Not very special but I spent a lot of time with friends on this map, even I start to find the map a little boring. I could add DOA flight for ship battles. Lot of fun. I will not speak about mp/ffa3... everybody know this map. I think it is the more played map with bespin from JK2. -

thanks you all for your answers I think I will create invisible npcs ( test.npc ) with an invisible saber which has a bladeeffect. The goal was to have 3 or 4 spawnable effects like in clanmod, makermod or ja++. It's for a RP. I don't know coding so I can't add a "addeffect" command to the game (and it needs to add an admin system, I don't want that). And I don't need all effects. Just 2 or 3.

ok, so there is two different problems : - the number of npc files. Just remove npc files you do not use from pk3 of your skins/maps - the { or } which is missing in some npc files. This is not necessary in the assets1.pk3. An other pk3 can overwrite the rancor npc file. You must check these files and correct them. -

I don't know but this limit is very low. Don't forget to check maps. They often add modified reborn and kyle for their training grounds. -

i checked the entities : they are ok. swoops spawn without problem when I use the button. The problem is certainly your number of npc files. When you have too much of them, the last npcs can not be spawned (z-95, x-wing, wampa, tuskens, ... from assets1.pk3) -

Maybe Sith J Cull made a mistake and put a NPC_spawner in place of a vehicle entity. Should check the entities of the map. Another problem is when you have a lot of .npc files (but without reaching the error message limit), a part of the npc files are not usable ingame. Don't know why. Put several npc files in your base folder, then try to spawn a wampa, it will not work. -
hey I did not buy this PC last year ! It has now... 7 or 9 years. I could only choose between Vista and XP at this time

I was waiting for Windows 10, because Windows 8 did not seduce me, and Windows 7's support will be stoped in 2020 (in 5 years only). But more I heard about Windows 10, less I am convinced it will be a good OS.

if it's a problem for you, I will change my computer in a few month, so you don't need to change all your build platform just for me. During this lap time, I will use old buids of OpenJK. And MBII needs too much power for my poor computer.

I was not sure it was 64bits. I assumed it was 64bits because each time I tried to run other 64bits applications on my computer, I had the same message. I have a Windows XP SP3 (32bits). The error message is : "openjk.x86.exe n'est pas une application Win32 valide". (= openjk.x86.exe is not a valid Win32 application) I have the same message with the lastest MBII version. Older versions (MBII 1.0.1 and OpenJK from Februar and March work without problem)

Last version of OpenJK (2015-07-06) seems to be 64 bits. It can not run on my computer.

Hello ! In .sab files, we can put effects on the blade (with BladeEffect "..." ) can we put an effect to a npc file ? (for example to add a flame effect to a npc, like he is burning).

ah, ok so they released only the client side, but they put a jampgamex86.dll in the client pack... i found the link on this forum http://jkaswrp.enjin.com/forum it is public.
