I don't understand you : To type o, I just press o. To type ô, I press ^ then o It is not more abominable than the ' and e to make é with the international qwerty keyboard. On french Azerty board, we have direct key for é, à, ç, è, and ù. There is only the letter with ^ which need to press ^ before the letter. The fact is not that people don't understand me if I use o in place of ô, the fact is that I am used to press ^+o and I type r^ole in place of rôle. It will take me some time to change my practice.

OpenJK for Windows, last bluid (16 february I think) Tested on Windows XP. Bug : ingame, I can't write any letter with the hat : ^ (example : ô, ê, î, û, â) It does not work : I have ^o, ^a, ... I think english would get a better color system but other languages need the hat. Thanks you

Discover the saber system the lightsaber OJP, one of the most realistic ever created for Jedi Academy. Battle for the Republic (BftR) is a project based on the 3D action game Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy®, using the OpenJK engine an the mod Open Jedi Project (OJP). It is inspired by Republic Commando and Battlefront games. The goal is to make a conversion of the game by moving the period of the game to the Clone War and focusing on the coop game mod. Players embody Jedi or Republic's soldiers and carry out through the converted Jedi Academy solo missions. Battle for the Republic is developped as a mod for Jedi Academy but you don't need to get the original game to play. A class system has been added to the game as far as the customizable equipment. Each class has access to specific equipment/power and has a determined role in the team. - Original class system with 8 specializations - New npcs based on the Clone war period - Prequel music conversion- adding a special interactive map to launch other coop maps (coming soon in V2) and news coop maps. Class List Jedis Sentinel : The Sentinel Jedi is a light side of the Force user. Equiped with a lightsaber, his fighting style and powers are more defensive, he protect himself from the ennemies attacks or try to turn them into allies with his mindtrick power. Dark Jedi : To better understand his ennemies, the dark Jedi studied the dark side of the Force. Although a user of the dark side, he is still a fighter of the right side. His fighting style is mainly an offensive one. Guardian : The Guardian has studied the Force Energy and is a specialized in healing himself or awaken his enemies. His fighting style is versatile and he is a imprevisible fighter. Soldiers Soldier : The backbone of the army, fighting in every front to defend the Republic. He is trained to use various blasters. His favorite rifle is the clone rifle DC-15, with its great rate of fire and a IEM launcher. Pyro : With his rocket launcher and different types of explosives, the pyro is used to destroy some highly armored ennemies or to enhance your home design. Scout : Often before the main troops to gather informations, he can sneak behind ennemi lines with the help of his cloaking device and cause great damages with his handgrenades. His favorite weapon his the sniper rifle. ARC Soldier : The first attempt of clone troopers, those soldiers are more independant and have followed a specific training. Even if the are using less weapons their strengh is balanced with the use of various gadgets which allow them to perform some tricky moves. They are a perfect Jedi support. Commando :A small squad send to fulfill precise objectives of sabotage or extraction, the commandos are trained as lonewolves survivors. Their favorite weapon is the DC-17m commando.

oh yes :-) the fact is : the original scripts change more things but they are my personnal configs for OJP. So I deleted this and release only the walking switch part, without thinking that toggle suffice... Original scripts are : [run.cfg] seta cl_run "1" bind ! "exec walk" bind "SHIFT" "+movedown;+attack" bind "MOUSE3" "weapon 1" and [walk.cfg] seta cl_run "0" bind ! "exec run" bind "SHIFT" "+movedown" bind "MOUSE3" "+button14"

****************************** *** Run and Walk - Scripts *** ****************************** By Clan FJA Release : December 2014 Website 1 : http://french-jedi-academy.forumactif.org/ Website 2 : http://french-jediacademy.forumactif.org/ Installation : put run.cfg and walk.cfg in your base folder (or any other mod folder). Run the game, open the console and type "/exec run" to load the script. Description : This script allow you to switch between running and walking mode without keeping the finger on the button. The default button is SHIFT, but you can change the bind in the cfgs. Press Shift one time : you run. Press shift a second time : You walk. It is very useful for mods like OJP or MBII, where walking allow you to parry/block hits. -

Good mod !! there is a problem which cause crashes with server ( @Angel Soul ) : The "Program Files (x86)" folder is write-protected with windows 7 and 8. JKA needs to modify files (jampconfig.cfg and others) in this folder (Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/...) so you need to run the game with administrator rights. OpenJK adapts JKA to Windows 7and 8 OS and put modified files into "My Games/OpenJK/..." so you don't need to run the game with administrator autorisations. However, with OpenJK, Zyk mod writes files into "Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/accounts" and "Program Files (x86)/LucasArt/Jedi Academy/Gamedata/configs". It creates crashs when a logged player kills npc and the game try to update his XP in his account file : Windows forbids this and the server crashs. The crash does not occur if the server run with administrator authorisation.

allez, hop vote effectué ! Ray'den ne vient plus. Sinon Alden, Bélial et moi on a relancé l'activité sur l'ex-nouveau forum. Ce n'est plus un clan, mais le but sera de se retrouver de temps en temps entre nous pour des parties coop. Le projet avance bien et la bêta sera bientôt dispo. Bref Alden avait posté un truc à ce sujet sur french mandalorian academy. En tout cas, ça n'as pas l'air d'être la fin des "enquêtes wampa dans la jungle sombre"

oh, we work on a modification on OJP : Battle for the Republic. The goal is to add a class system, because soldiers with all weapons are cheated, and to focus the mod on coop, with a quasi total conversion in the clone war. (stormtrooper => droids, allies => clones and jedis). http://french-jedi-academy.forumactif.org/ It is only the starting. The beta is under construction. We are only 3.

Furthermore, an OpenJediProject fix by @@Clan FJA , (someone called G?) Yeah, G because before, i did OJP 1.2 fixed A, then B, then C.... and the last version is G i can't call them OJP 1.3, 1.4... because i did not touch the dlls, only correct some bugs due to pk3 stuff....

eh... I tested and already fixed t1_surprise (tusken mission) and the interruptor. I have no problem with this level. I think that you use zzzz_CustomOJP.pk3 from StrikerFelix. Remove it from your ojpenhanced folder because it re-adds some bugs I fixed, particularly with maps and RGB saber. About RGB saber, you must choose "RGB" as color, then click on "RGB custom" to access the RGB. I could fix more coops maps, but it is a lot of work and tests, and there is not enough people who play on OJP today. Making other updates is not in my projects, but If there will be a new consequent community on OJP, i could work again on OJP.

well, MBII is in the list, you can add "Coop" ! ( with OJP !!!!!! ) I love kill stupid stormtroopers and reborns with friends on this mod. Good question : should "Coop" (seta g_gametype 5 with OJP) be considered as "single player" or as a gamemode like CTF or MBII ?

http://jkhub.org/files/file/1968-fm3av3/ with Fm3Av3, you can choose your jetpack when you select mandalorian or space trooper class. You must clic on the name of the jetpack to change the model. There are 5 or 6 jetpack models : mandalorian (boba), blue mandalorien (jango), space trooper, kaminoen and jet trooper. Unfortunately, other mods don't give possibility to choose jetpack model.
