We're happy that you're happy. I'll be sure to continue my mod hilts, but as I mentioned here and there, progress during the week will be slow as I have time only in the evenings, if I have free time at all.

Well, all we've really seen about the saber until now is the trailer. If there's really a crystal in the middle, I'm sure we'll fix the models as it schouldn't be much work to just replace the middle part with a showing crystal.

@MagSul I apologize, I noticed a huge flaw and that is it's general size. Also the texture isn't the latest I've done... seems I forgot to copy over the latest pk3 from the base folder before making the zip on my desktop. Stand by, I'll edit the file in a few minutes, then just wait a bit more for the approval.

Yes, the vanilla hilts do seem too large. Maybe they've done it like that to make the sabers more noticeable, since you can take a good look at them only in the menu. About that, for JK:Enhanced, would it be possible if the sabers were upscaled in the menu? So they're bein viewed much bigger, I mean.

I'm using this hud, it's not star wars themed and with regards to that, it looks a bit off, yes. To me, things like that don't matter, it's a fantastic hud to use! I very much love it!

Take a look at the originals - this time I didn't change much from their respective original looks. A few things previously only on texture are now modeled, there's not more buttons than there schould be.  If you come across any bugs, please reply about them here in the comments. I'll fix them by the next release.

Yes but Omicron made me remember something important; not everyone would like the curved version. The final versions of my packs are gonna have a lot additional hilts to choose from and some extras, like the curved version for the Champion, a few reskins done by me probably to make the hilts more to my liking and such things. I'm gonna concentrate really hard to make this project come to light in the best possible way.

Is there an MD3 Importer for 2012 as well, or do any of the older versions work? I'm in need of one right now

Just tried them out. They look much sharper and color transitions are *PERFECT*. I just find the core too thin though. Maybe a little bit thicker?

All in due time, I'd like to see more faults in it before I go and make an update. As you can see, I've made quite the list going from 0.7 to 0.8

It's only a bug in my released weapons pack. Next update of it will fix this, otherwise try it out yourself. It doesn't seem detached with other hilts..

I like what you did with the re-skin, but I wish it was done on the newer stormie model DT made, though it would be interesting if we could possibly make the same re-skin for the updated stormie.

don't worry, I'm just kinda training on applying certain teqhniques on a playermodel texture. I plan on re-drawing the whole thing anyway, this release is just kinda scratches and the kind as an overlay on the original tex.

I've uploaded the update right now. Hope you're more satisfied with the final textures!

In the forums, you can look at the "teaser" pick I've uploaded today, it partly shows the single saber counterparts of the dual sabers pack. You can find it under any of the posts I've made. I'll be making each saber breakable, and when it does, it'll look like the saber really was cut in half and you now dual-wield both parts. The pack still needs a little bit of work, after that it goes into testing to Hidden Bek, and after that, I'll pack it properly and upload it! Though this last pack will be nothing like the first two, it'll be more or less finished, without any fixing needed like before. The single saber pack and the misc saber pack will both get a HUGE update, probably most of all the models will be recreated and textured once more from scratch.

This looks unique.  I think Desann is the only one who has an evil looking saber hilt, correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Though having a saber hilt that had " I hate Jedi " written on it,  would be cool. How about it @@Rooxon ?

Well I honestly doubt any sith would write I hate jedi on it And yes, Desann's saber was the only evil looking one I have ever seen, to be honest. Well maybe this idea could evolve a bit further and a saber like that would be possible. I wouldn't exactly write "I hate jedi" on it, but maybe something more... iconic, metaforic, that shows the wielder hates the light side/jedi/whatever. Hmm but now that I think about it, I've got no idea what else could be possible. We would need to present this to the whole community and see what Ideas others have.

Now, some of you may like the original saber a lot more. I'm learning the proper way of texturing these days, I'm still a far way from grasping the whole concept of it, though I'm coming around. I may do updates for my past single saber mods in the future.

Totally agree. Well many thanks, but I'm not satisfied with a 10/10 anymore. I want to come to a level where my mods are simply brilliant, staggering. When you see what I made and you go ooooooh I gotta play with this! That's what I tend to reach. Well, all in due time.
