Honestly, I don't know why this hasn't been done yet, but there needs to be a TF2 model pack. Imagine recreating action-packed events with the iconic Mercenaries Red and Blu in the Jedi Academy engine, except this time they have high-tech weaponry and do not plan on leaving without absolutely annihilating the other guys. Basically what I'm getting at here is I've got a few sound packs set up for the characters, and I'm wondering if anyone would like to work on the models and skins. Frankly I'd do it myself if I wasn't so god-awful at texturing and given the fact that my PC runs Blender at about 0.2 FPS (not an exaggeration, I actually checked), there's really nothing I can do. So, there's that idea planted. EDIT: As of now I have Heavy, Medic, Scout, Soldier, and Spy sounds.

Looking back on this now, I can't remember why I said "advanced" XD

No they're all great tips that I'll keep in mind. BTW, it's not official, but the droid's name is probably going to be LT-F4. Definitely not an alt-f4 joke -
Jedi Academy styled artwork

It's his hand holding the hilt up with the Force. I'm still new to this kind of stuff, but I thought it would add feel to the pic if his hand was darker since it wasn't in the light. Any tips would be awesome. -

They are the same exact length, but here's the thing: When I merge my gla with the _humanoid.gla, it replaces the anims, but the custom poses that come after it are all replaced with the base pose. It's hard for me to explain in text. EDIT: So this is one of the poses before I merge the gla But this is how it and the rest of them show up after the merge.

I've been trying to edit the ledge animations for a while now. I don't remember what mod they come from, but they're the ones that trigger whenever you grab hold of a ledge. I'm kinda getting tired of dislocating my shoulders everytime I grab a ledge, and I decided to edit the animations, so I went into Blender and changed them. The problem is, how do I replace the current ledge anims in the gla with the ones I made? BTW: There are custom pose anims that come after the ledge anims, so if I just use glamerge, they become non-existant/replaced with the base pose.

Is it cool if I post some of my own artwork here? -
Hey! You posted them! They all look good, although I'm a bit upset I don't see myself that much.
-
That shouldn't be much of a problem.

There's no way to bypass this? EDIT: My whole intention is to add flare to the MP version of the game. Sure, it'd be nice if we could do this for SP, but I'd rather do this with MP.

Yes! This is what I'm looking for! If we can just pick this back up and work on it, that'd be awesome!

I was actually thinking of putting a team together to do this, but I don't know who would actually want to do this, seeing as how it would take so much time and effort.

So, think about this for a moment. Would it be possible to make a new skeleton, exactly like the original, but add robe bones, then make new animations for said bones, and apply these animations and skeleton to a model that uses a robe? Take the picture for example. The robe is stiff ingame and it gets kind of annoying after a while. I remember looking at a Galen Marek skin that changed the animations for that specific skin, so essentially, this would be the same thing except you're adding a skeleton as well. So, thoughts? Comments? Snide remarks?

Hello everyone! I am RepJunkieJr, a freelance gamer and aspiring modder/Foley artist, although I go by "BowtiesAreCool" on this site. I'm one of the younger followers of JK3, if that's a thing, but anyways, I'm looking forward to having fun not only on JK3, but here as well. P.S.: I know, there's always a PS, but is there anyone out there who's good with modeling that could give me a small hand here? I put together some sounds for a Sam Fisher playermodel, but the problem is, I couldn't use Blender to save my life, and I'd rather not use the mrwonko Sam Fisher. I have no method of payment, other than I'll owe you a favor . If anyone could magic up a Sam Fisher player model for me, you would have my eternal gratitude. P.P.S: Sorry for using my introduction to call for help. It's a low blow, I know... EDIT: I'm open for responses anytime...

Hi there! I've been looking everywhere on the web, trying to find out how to convert a multiplayer skin to singleplayer compatibility. Before you guys say anything, yes, I have seen the tutorials on how to convert using the .skin files, but the one I want to convert is a bit more... advanced. I'll show you what I mean. Please end my pain and explain to me how the **** to do this.
