    Maybe you wanna...

After reading the thread I'm somewhat under the impression that some of them simply don't know what they're talking about while some of them are willing to help you. Looks like they're just complaining about the 40 vs 20 setting, which they can easily fix in the server.cfg - they still talking to you?
  2. Sometimes shareware packages come with annoying bundled packages such as Conduit, which while excessively annoying, are not actually malware or harmful. These usually have to be removed by hand via editing browser config files and registry values.
  3. Send Xycaleth a cat in a box.
  4. Skeletor? You have my grandest of welcomes!
  5. Sometimes issues like this can also be solved (if it isn't on the ISP or router end of things), by "uninstalling" the computer's wifi driver and the reinstalling from device manager.
  6. Anyone know what music was used in this video? I'm really digging it.
  7. You should post one of your own videos sometime.
  8. What have you checked on your router/modem so far? Does the ping only happen on certain games/servers/how are you testing the ping?
  9. Does this still work with online games? (I don't have any installed atm to try it with).
  10. And Jan is stunned at Kyle's comments because she's neutral and can't even?
  11. I feel like it is a great outline for the map so far IrocJeff, but if you want things to look a bit more complete you may want to consider adding more "noise"/"detail" to the basic stuff you got outlined so far. eg: more detailed textures, additional shaders, models, 'realistic' piping/electrical utilities etc... Right now it just looks a bit incomplete for it, if you want inspiration try looking at what Szico does with his maps.
  12. Can't do this eez. Everytime you play the game it will force it to update if you have the auto-updating disabled, which basically means you have to update someway no matter what. Because it would cause them a headache and they don't care much about the little guys. If they allowed people to not update, people would try and play unpatched games and it would crash etc and they'd get people reporting bugs, whinning about bugs (that don't exist if they would just update), and encourage hacking/cheating.
  13. Asexual organisms will hit on themselves, neutral have no flirting skills however since they don't reproduce.
  14. Don't forget that Steam is DRM software. It inherits evil as a result of its nature. The only way to not update is to keep steam from connecting to the internet. Source.
  15. How was he moving, via teleport?
  16. How to stop talking to people: A guide. 1. Stop replying to the thread they are posting in. 2. Put them on your ignore list. 3. Stop trying to "have the last word".
  17. Oh and oriental planet. That'll be interesting. Starting to remind me of Firefly.
  18. Coders can't have fun? Neutral - Doesn't reproduce at all. Asexual - Like a plant, reproduces via cutting off a clipping.
  19. Okay go start with the first screen.
  20. MIGHTY JOHN WILLIAMS. The main reason I see any movie.
  21. I want a tunnel of caverns with like dead miners and stuff and an escaped Sith Alchemist beast, etc...
  22. I think it does have a valid argument in it though. The goal of 'cheat protection' should be just to make it harder, not to foil it outright. If the cheat protection software is being updated constantly it means the cheat users have to keep up-to-date with their cheats, etc... I'm not sure I'd want to introduce DRM protection software to JKA...
  23. If you're cheating, I can't imagine you'd care much about playing fair or just having a good time chatting with others etc... You're there because a) You made a cool hack yourself and want to try it out b) You have an illusive inflated ego and feel the need to make everybody see just how superior you are, even at the expense of cheating your way there. c) You like playing against other cheaters with cheats, so really its all fair anyway. But yeah, I suppose Bacon could be just talking about plain old poke/wiggle players who don't use scripts too, in which case that's a bit uncalled. But I'm pretty sure he meant the ones that 'cheat' to do it.
