      I have been just working a lot trying to save money to buy a house so my part of the DF2 mod hasn't had anything done but don't know what's up with the rest of the members.

      For students, it's the busiest time with the near-end of the semester. I'd say a majority of members here are students. Then there are the other random situations like yours.

      Most of the time I'll be a jet trooper, get some soldiers to follow me, and storm a command post :).

      BF2 is sooo much better than the first. The first was a good game, but they really fixed the team unevenness and made the game have more lasting appeal in the second.

      Also I'll snipe, then when I get disgusted with my team failing I'll go into the battle and just start one-shotting people with the sniper rifle, no scope

      yep they seem to use some kind of metallic paint on their armor so a spec shine should turn out much better than env gloss

      Okay, I'll be sure to add them. In terms of shaders it is really only the spec images and the more glowy version.

    Primary skinning for the TFU pack is done. I will be posting ref shots of the skins hopefully today. Be on the look out for them.

      I know JK3 files had one but it probably wasn't the most accurate one we could get. I don't know if Chalk is planning on making one or not.

    Only two skins left now. Once I am finished, I will post photos for feedback and see if I can go ahead with the shader work.

      Right now the only thing I am sure I could do is make something Shadow related. But I might be interested. I'll think it over. But a base set up for the textures would probably helpful to start with.

    Have started a skin of the Stormtrooper Commander based on the action figure and I can honestly say I like it better than the default skin that was already shown off. This new skin now replaces the one already shown as default and the older is now under the Blue team.

      In Canada, for us it's really just been about spending time with family and eating turkey...it's a religious holiday I think though.

    Something interesting I found out, contrary to what I once thought, Sandtroopers' ammo packs on their shoulders are actually connected to the backpack. I am curious what connects the ammo pack to the shoulder when troopers don't have a backpack.

    I am thinking of making some adjustments to the Rodian base skin. The way the texture stretches and connects is just awful...

      The lower leg and the upper leg just doesn't connect that well at all. The colors look for the line stripe look completely different. I'll have a look at the other mercs and see if there is other stuff that can be fixed up.

      my lack of updates is more about the fact that im working on a very difficult part of the facility, an original part, and fitting it into the regular tie facility is a bit daunting. oh and i got 2 kids and halloween and school and everything. i hope to be done with the tie facility and well into raxus prime soon though nothings really holdin me back now

    Legal question: Is it legal to submit a file that has part of a texture from another Lucas Arts game or is that considered porting?

      I'm not even sure who would perform legal action against you, frankly.

      I'd say just check with the admins of JKHub, I wouldn't particularly worry about anything else.

      Be carful. The textures are relentless. If any slight texture is ported, it will be, civil war against JKHub.
