  1. I have just uploaded the Clone "Shiny", I think you guys are going to like him.
  2. Okay, I think we are long overdue for a progress update. I will be comparing my previous two drafts of Gregor to my current one. Draft 1: The main problems with this draft was that first; the camo made the armor too bright, and based on references shots Gregor's armor is really dark. Also the camo seemed way too small to strecth across the armor effectively. Second; the yellow seemed too bright compared to refrence shots. Draft 2: This draft got better on target with the camo and the yellow but the armor still appeared too bright. The yellow also seemed to stand out too much compared to the rest of the armor. Draft 3: While not finished, Draft 3 is already working far beyond the previous versions of the character. The yellow now matches the rest of the armor better then it did before and now the armor is just dark enough to work. Let me know what you guys think of the drafts.
  3. Maybe it's me, but I think the green armor is just a little to bright. Shader wise, it looks pretty cool.
  4. Gregor is being a bit more difficult than I predicted. I think the best way to go is to work on one part at a time and then see how it works. I'll to compare him to the Clone Wars Boss to see how to best tackle a realistic version.
  5. Aggh...this Gregor may need to more drafts than I thought. It is so difficult to find the right blend of colors for him. Or finding the right procedure in which to add that camo of his. I blame the camo and lighting for the issues I am having.

  6. Is this the one you are reffering to?
  7. I have decided to take a different procedure towards Gregor. I noticed the current draft I was working on was too bright and I didn't like how close the camo was on some of the armor. So I am basically starting from scratch and I am going to try a different approach. I think this will turn out much better.
  8. It's alright, and I understand your excitement. It just takes time to make these things just right.
  9. I can't really put out a date or anything like that. Between the tally marks that needed to be added and pieces that I find may need to be adjusted, it is difficult to say exactly when Gregor will be released. One of the reasons the Wolfpack turned out so well was because it went through a great many drafts until it was as good as I could get it. Considering there is just one Gregor, it should be no where near is long for him to be released. All the same, success can't be rushed. Worry not, I will get him finished in due time. And again I appreciate your interest.
  10. Yep, I'm the one on the top with the Wolf for an avatar. Certainly, thank you very much for your permission. I will indeed send you screenshots of the finished product. Yeah, e-mailing you probably would have been more effective. Thank you again.
  11. Usually Mod Views photos show up in the Local Disk (C:) folder. I don't know what system you are using so it might be a little different for you.
  12. I like to get permission from authors before I submit something based off of their original work. I have tried to contact the creator of the Clone Ultima models and Hap Slash when I intended to release something but I never got any reply. I am kind of getting this from File Front's submission policy. I don't know what JK Hub's policy toward submissions are. Either way, I like to give credit where credit is do. So I will respect the wishes of the original authors, whatever they may be.
  13. Oh no, I am sure there are many skin artists better than I. But I greatly appreciate your comment. And there are Indeed quite a few tally marks left to be added. As well as the armor underneath the shoulder pad. The way the model is designed really helps the camo to blend in effectively. The trick will be getting permission by the author for me to release it.
  14. It's alright, I appreciate his interest. An image is probably overdue so... Keep in mind this isn't totally completed yet. There are still a few bits needed to be made.
  15. I know what you are talking about. I thought for sure I had it, but I dont know where it went. I'll look around and see if I can find it.
  16. Honestly, these could really use some better textures. Especially the Star Trek map. It has potential, but I highly encourage you to find some better textures to use.
  17. The man does have great skill but I think it is a difficult task for any one person to take on alone. I would totally be interested of course but it wouldn't be easy for just on person.
  18. Interesting thing, looking at art of Gregor, he actually does not have any number on his backpack that I can see. He has some sort of red and blue lights on it instead. I will have to learn how to make things glow to make this really work but I don't think it will be that hard. It's no problem. I like seeing such joy and excitement from people. I'll try and get shots up as soon as I can.
  19. That is the exact model I am skinning. I have that particular model and it is fantastic. So do not worry your request is already underway. He is coming along quite well if I do say so myself. I don't think he will take that long to finish.
  20. I did an image search for tally marks and came up with a lot of results for Doctor Who. What exactly is the connection?
  21. I have begun work on my next project. This one is not a pack like the previous release was, but it does still focus on a Clone character. Here is a hint of who I am working on next. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130104134802/starwars/images/2/28/Gregor.png
  22. Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
  23. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I am going to take a bit of a brake from skinning for awhile. I've been pretty busy working on the Wolfpack so I nice rest will do me some good. Rest assured though, I will continue with the clones.
