You are awesome. Thank you for this!

Hello there, I was wondering if anyone had ever thought of making Zygerrian models for JA. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zygerrian I would request them for roleplay purposes only. Basically, just heads would be fine as well, since there are enough bodies to put them on. It would be cool to see characters like Queen Miraj Scintel or Ataj Molec in the game.

A simple recolour of Raven's R2-D2 model to make it look like QT-KT (a.k.a. Qutee or Cutie), Aayla Secura's astromech during the Clone Wars and a valued member of D-squad. NPC support: yes! To spawn in game, open console, and type: 'npc spawn qtkt' I am aware that the droid has a different texture on its top in the animated show (yellow and black stripes), but I couldn't get it quite right. Perhaps I'll give it another shot for a possible v2. If anyone else wants to do it, go right ahead. By the way, if anyone can obtain custom sounds for this one, that would be a great addition! I look forward to your feedback!- 4 comments

Thank you all for your replies! That last one seemed to be the problem, the Ghoul 2 box. This opens up many new possibilities for me. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your replies! I have already linked it back to the hips, as you can see in the second screenshot. It is parented to hips_0, and, I double checked, this is the correct name for the parent. The error remains (89 surfaces, but 90 of them are connected).

Hello there, I'm not very active on this forum, but I've been following it for a long time, and from time to time I do some skinning and frankensteining of my own, but just for personal use. I am not that talented. I wanted to make a character from my fan fiction, and as a base I decided to take the Jedi torso, the human_merc head(s), the weequay armour, and the snowtroopers legs. I managed to get everything working (see pic 1), but one thing eludes me. Pic 1: Model in Modview (before separation of the kneecaps): https://ibb.co/kvd9cc The hips_armor surface on the snowtrooper legs contains knee caps, as well as 'crotch cap' and several bags around the waist. Since I'm actually mainly interested in the knee caps, I wondered if I could separate them from the rest. So I took them apart in blender by selecting only the knee caps (in edit mode), pressing P and then 'Selection'. It is now its own surface in blender, and I named it 'hips_knee'. Unfortunately, when exporting it to GLM, Modview gives the old 'this model needs rebuilding' error. Since this is where the frankenstein tutorials end, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to treat a new surface like hips_knee for it to work in Modview. Pic 2: Model in Blender (after separation of the kneecaps): https://ibb.co/na8pAx Any help would be appreciated!

@@Onysfx That is obviously not what I mean. I just feel the finale was very inconclusive and those deaths need to happen anyway (looking at EpIV). That place and situation was the perfect set up for a dramatic death.

From Clone Troopers to Stormtroopers
The_CrY replied to The_CrY's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
A very informative summary. I never knew about the Spaarti stuff. I suppose that's the problem when the EU gets too big. I also really like your conclusion as I have yet to find respect for the First Order. -
From Clone Troopers to Stormtroopers

At least we can then agree that this is some sort of plot hole (which only became a plot hole with SW Rebels, to be fair), even though perhaps there are reasons to excuse 'details' like these from EpIV, as you say. -
From Clone Troopers to Stormtroopers

The spoilers thingie is an old habit from when the film was fresh. It was probably unnecessary, you're right about that. If you are right and only the older Clone Troopers were decommissioned, as we saw in Rebels, then that would ease my mind and allow for the continuity. But Rex, Wolffe and Gregor repeatedly talk down on Stormtroopers and clearly say they were 'replaced'. Hence my confusion. It could, of course, just be their way of expressing dissatisfaction with them being replaced by 'shinies'. I hope you can see where I'm coming from. -
Just to be sure, this thread will contain minor SPOILERS for Ep VII and Star Wars Rebels. That said, I am a bit confused on what Disney is doing to the continuity on Palpatine's army. George Lucas introduced them as clones in Ep II, but already in the very first Star Wars film, there is the famous quote "Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?", which I took to be a reference to the fact that all Stormtroopers are the same (as I'm sure, many of you did as well). Thus I naturally assumed a transition in armour design to be the only difference between Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers. In EpVII, in a discussion between Kylo Ren and General Hux, they discuss their new Stormtroopers, which are not clones, but bred from birth and brainwashed, etc. They specifically speak of clones as an alternative from the past. In Rebels, it has been announced that Clone Troopers were officially decommissioned after the Clone Wars and that they were replaced by Stormtroopers (which, I take it, were not clones then?). Unless the Empire held a strict heighth requirement for the Stormtrooper vacancy, isn't this a major disruption of the continuity? I'm curious to see what explanations there are.

Having finally caught up with the second season of Rebels, I think Disney has cornered itself. Since it seems that Rebels is still aimed towards a younger audience, they are hesitant to kill characters off. We all know it needs to happen before Ep IV starts. Ezra, Kanan, Ahsoka, and Maul will die inevitably. I think Ahsoka should have died in that last episode or at least Kanan should have been killed by Maul (where Ahsoka could take over as Ezra's mentor, which would make her powerless as he falls to the dark side). To me it feels like they are afraid to do what is necessary for the continuity. The longer they take to kill them, at the end they will be forced to kill them all off at the same time, which is more shocking to the children, I'm sure.

That did it! He indeed looks like a predator or a pothead now. Makes for some variation Thanks!
