  1. I found 3Dsmax way too complicated when I was younger and decided to install Blender and give it a try. So far it has been quite a nice experience and I've learned a lot about modelling and texturing, thought most people say the UI is atrocious and I'm inclined to agree. Soon there'll be a new version of Blender which will remap a lot of things, so you could try doing what Ashura says and learn the basics of 3Dsmax, he'll also release soon a great plugin that will allow people to map easily with that tool, so you should probably learn how to use that software.
  2. Absolute pleb opinion. togruta > all
  3. I did my own big tiddy togruta gf model but I haven't released it because the head was taken from TOR
  4. How about I play all those games and don't spend a single cent on any?

    Secret Santa 2018

This will be my first time participating on this, very excited to see what I can do.
  6. I love this videos, keep it up! The RP community in JA is great and I love how creative you guys are.
  7. Good job so far, there are a few things that bothered me though: a) the background noise is too loud b) the footstep sounds is very annoying 3) I'd rather use the robeless models the whole cinematic than have them mysteriously dissapear and get that grey skin for a milisecond.
  8. I think it's hardcoded in all force users classes.
  9. Latest Star Wars comics had an issue like this (check Tales from Vader's castle if you're interested)! Also people, let's not make mountains out of sand-hills.
  10. Don't take offense, but saying that is very annoying for most, as you could do what most of the modders here do if you just decide to learn how to map, since it doesn't take a series of supernatural skills nor do the people that map have more free time than the average guy. What you could do, aside from posting the idea, is helping inspire others by posting reference pictures. I like Vader's castle as much as the next guy, but if I were ever to map this (which I'm not saying I will), I would need a lot of reference pics to help me visualize how the place should look like. Try posting pics of every area you thing should be in a map, so that way someone might bite and try to do it.
  11. I've been doing a bit of rigging of the mesh posted on Facepunch. It's far from finished, but at least it'd have facial animations if completed. As I don't think I'll keep working on it for some time, I'm leaving a dropbox link for anyone to polish it! No need to give credits or any of that faggy nonsense, just make sure that if you do something good, you share it with the rest of the community! 12. This guy did some incredibly great work but, just like so many things, he vanished.
  13. I could port the WII model, but sadly it has an action pose with makes it near impossible to properly port. If someone can find one in a normal T-Pose (even better if it's an A-pose), I could port it for you guys.
  14. Where's Jeff's port?
  15. https://community.moviebattles.org/threads/dabbing-a-star-wars-story.6451/ If there's a demand for it I'll make a version compatible with base
  16. That's not how it's done. All models move their mouths when they play a voice sound, thing is, not all models are correctly rigged to have mouth animation since some modelers are lazy. If you want a specific model to have mouth animations, you need to rig it yourself if it hasn't been done yet.
  17. It's pretty cool that you modded JA to be more to your own liking. Wish more people did that.
  18. Second one. Load times aren't that long and they make for a more immersive gameplay.
  19. Nice find, he was my hero when I was in the void.
  20. I love the background sound. It's one of the most important parts in trying to set an atmosphere. Keep it up!
  21. Issue is that you're telling it to import the model with a 'default' skin (in the options at the left). Just delete the box that says 'default' and presto.
  22. No true scotman fallacy. I liked The Last Jedi and unironically think it's a good film. In the same way, I could argue that those who enjoyed The Force Awakens aren't Star Wars fans to begin with, but it'd be a pointless exercise of self-fellation. People are dwelling into this new outrage culture and a farce of pseudo-political commentary. I'm sick of seeing my Youtube feed spammed with clickbait Star Wars shit just because I saw a trailer for a videogame a couple months ago. Thank god Youtube wasn't a thing in 2000 or we'd have seen a million videos of old ass men complaining that The Phantom Menace ruined their childhood and Star Wars is dead forever.
