  3. The green one looks fantastic. Are you going to add specular shader? The grey skin tone is too close to the the color of the shoulderpads and parts of his headgear, you should either darken the skin tone or make the shoulderpads/headgear parts bronze e.g. maybe darken the nostrals too...

  5. yeah thanks @Ruxith, you really shouldn't have done that but I appreciate this. I haven't had the time to contact him. however..... Can someone fix this for me? Im lucky I noticed this at this point, because I dont feel like working on something like this. I will have to look for another model to use for my skinpack, probably a mando-- f*cking palpatinesithjediscumlukesdirtyunderpantskyleface

  9. Definetly, because this skin is very low quality to begin with. Im going to make the skin look as much like BAO DeathStroke as possible. http://images.gameskinny.com/gameskinny/2a2a978eca23c1adff7028e073802ee9.jpg The idea is to first create high quality textured DeathStroke and then make some look-a-likes, maybe even MortalKombat style skins and snowball it into one skinpack. @AshuraDX using a "rainbow" map to identify parts is a good idea, creating new textures for all parts anyhow so... going carnival clown on this wont ruin it edit: While im at it I might aswell create an actual terror trooper skin edit: @Milamber likes fish
  10. If you look at my post above ^ you may notice that unlike most skins, the torso.jpg - or in this case "body.jpg" is not as clear to read as usually. A more detailed skin is always easier to edit because you know which area to edit. One simple trick is to draw lines where you think the abs & ribs are e.g. (image) It may take a few tries to get the lines correctly but once that's done, it will be much easier to add all kinds of details. Try to locate the ammo pouch, help me out By the way: Notice the belt at the lower part of "body.jpg" which I blacked out. It didn't show anywhere no matter how I spin the model in ModView. __________________________________________________________________ I wrote off most of the spine -model - it was just akward. I have no idea what this "terror trooper" is ... but the original skin looks like General Grievous I also wrote off the claws from hands and the antenna that was part of the spine, or neck actually, I would have loved to keep it but it looked weird = It was part of the spine/neck and after I removed spine_things, the antenna was floating behind his neck.. but it actually looks better without it.
  11. @Keyten = you have to edit files in GameData/base/gfx just make sure you have copied all the files to a back-up folder e.g. on Desktop
  12. instead of using a greasy shader, I was thinking about specular mapping since it's less likely to have a bounty hunter/ an assassin wearing a shiny armor... edit: oh wait--- Jango Fett edit 2: armor is easy to edit as u can see, but the rest of the body is difficult
  13. Well I am going to create a skinpack of DeathStroke look-a-likes.. this model is just perfect for such a project: it has armor, skull-mask and ammo pouch + "bullets" -- it even has a "lasersight"

I found some cool models, lots of them actually but it seems they are from MB2. { http://extrajka.ru/forum/index.php/topic/27-porty-i-modeli-ltclaim-i-drugie/ } Now that I have these models in a folder, I want to work on them, create some skins to publish here, but I don't think these models were ment to be spread around like this, but since the damage is already done... I have a vision in my head of what I want to create and if I get it done well.. then I'd like a permission to release the skins here. If I knew who exactly made these models, I would ask for permission privately.
  16. You are right @JediBantha, I was wrong to write "game series" when I was actually talking about Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy alone. However.. I belive.. that all of us are Jaden. with that said Jaden can be anything, and my Jaden is a bastard of Palpatine and Padmé - half-brother of Anakin, who spent his childhood on Kamino as " Project Palpadmé " and was injected with midichlorians to create an ideal Sith Lord for the Empire. <evil laugh>
  17. The whole game series is about misfits = Tavion was Desann's pupil when Kyle defeated him, and now she's back with a gang of misfits to have her stupid revenge on Kyle. Tavion who in my mind is like Harley Quinn from Batman= crying after her mentor and isn't really as badass as she thinks. Alora may be talented but the fact is that she is only a pupil of a pupil and has trouble fighting a Jedi student = Jaden Korr. So what did Jaden really do in the game? dealt with a bunch of misfits while Kyle watched over him. Kyle obviously held back when fighting Jaden - we could have had another Anakin without legs and arms.
  18. Hey I got a very weird ERROR as I tried to save my map as a BSP. Im using GTK Radiant- 1.3.12 and it worked ok so far, loads all models and textures but today, as I tried to create a BSP - it gave me an ERROR. I saved my map again, renamed it from cube_pool to 'autosave.map' and now it magically allows me to create a BSP - any ideas what is going on here?
