That is originally from the Dark Forces mod I believe. It should have been released separately. It might have but I can't find it.

There are dozens of file hosting sites that work great. Dropbox is nice because it's a little more personal and reliable. Mediafire is also great. Those are the two that I use.

Now i understand why you guys don't like KoTF!

Though he stole everything, he still took that crazy amount of time to put it together. People give him no credit for anything but time is a huge factor. Even if he did steal things. -
Try renaming the pk3 file with a few Z's in the front of it so that it ends up at the bottom of the folder when sorted alphabetically. So it would be something like "zzzzSlaveLeiaHD.pk3"
-
Not sure what happened here. Did you mess with the PK3 at all? Do you have interfering mods?

Yes but it's no surprise. It's the way of life. You can't expect a video game to flourish forever. It's actually a miracle that it's staying afloat right now, with the source code released and all. -
Dropbox does wonders.

Yeah but that would take even more time, and that's not really something the JA community has anymore. Or ever did for that matter. It really wouldn't be worth it. -
It's hard to tell in that pic. Maybe? Could you post your textures for the skin?

I agree it was a great idea. He went about it wrong. -
How do I keep a Model status off in modview (HELP)
Circa replied to Jlflash2's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
It's alright, I was just informing you so you wouldn't make the same mistake. -
It looks very low-res to me. Maybe it's your graphics settings or something, but everything looks washed out compared to the blaster he's holding and even the patch on his shoulder.

MOD Suggestion: The Old Republic Mod
Circa replied to LordDesann's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
It actually seems more like a KOTOR mod rather than a TOR mod. The skins he wants to use are more KOTOR-esque. -
I'm pretty sure he's talking about just one mini mod that just changes the FX, not a whole big conversion. This one has what you want in it I believe but it also has all the other effects boosted to the max. Those could be removed however to leave you with the saber sparks. http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Weapons_Mod;57766

MOD Suggestion: The Old Republic Mod
Circa replied to LordDesann's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
Hey eez, you probably shouldn't venture into the Mod Requests & Suggestion forum too often if you get like this with people's requests. It's a valid request. Not everyone wants to get into modding and that's perfectly understandable. -

How do I keep a Model status off in modview (HELP)
Circa replied to Jlflash2's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
The skin file is the easiest way to do this. Don't bother with the other said methods. Also, this is the wrong section for this topic. It should be in the Modding Assistance section. Just letting you know for future topics you make. -
That'll do.

MOD Suggestion: The Old Republic Mod
Circa replied to LordDesann's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
I understand what you're getting at. I always get annoyed when people say that to me as well. This is the request section after all. I might think about doing it since it's incredibly simple. That being said, they are right that it's the easiest thing to do in modding. Don't be daunted by the word and concept of modding, a lot of it is very simple. In this case, it's a matter of combining said models into one folder and renaming some lines in their NPC text files. If you ever want to start getting your feet wet in modding, it's a great way to.
