  1. Using the app seems a lot easier to me. Just copy and paste to same folder as base and voila.
  2. You bastard. So good at this. I was wondering if you'd ever get to it. Really excited for this! It will be great to compare your work to the old clone models.

    Checkin in

Welcome! Good to see you stop by.
  4. He means the JKA app. He just uses the assets that are found inside the app and uses OpenJK.app.
  5. Why not use that older build I linked, since it seems to work, according to your video? I link to the version of JA++ that I use as well. Everything works for me no matter what server I join. I've stopped pointing people to OpenJK on Mac because of all this though. You want to just go back to using vanilla by using JKJALaunch.
  6. I can connect to JAWA fine with that old build. But I have JA++ installed. I'll have to test without it to see if I run into that issue as well.
  7. Are you able to join vanilla servers? Try joining de.jk3.in Are you using the JA+ client or just trying to join it with OpenJK?
  8. I think by "crappy" he meant as a person, not necessarily the quality of their mods. A person that takes other people's work without permission (and especially if they claim it as their own) are indeed that: crappy.
  9. Try this: https://thejawaclan.com/topic/40385-ja-osx-mac/?do=findComment&comment=413796 I still use an older build of OpenJK due to these problems. But using the older SDL version seems to work for newer builds I think. Either way, that post I linked should resolve the issue until it's fixed by the OpenJK devs. Also, your base folder is different in OpenJK. It's in ~/Library/Application Support/OpenJK
  10. Great idea. Sounds like a ton of work, however.
  11. Done. Welcome back chalk! We missed you pal.
  12. It needs to be a zip file. It tells you that if you click on "What type of files can I upload?" on the form.
  13. Yep. @@mrwonko is a staff member here. It's been posted numerous times around here. Can't hurt to have another link I suppose.
  14. How kind of you. You need to chill a bit, pal.
  15. If you're just adding a new pk3 to it anyway, why include the whole mod? Might as well implement the change in the original pk3. Otherwise you're taking downloads away from DT's file and confusing newcomers to thinking you created the model itself. That's always the tricky part about SP support mods. I used to make those all the time back in the day and I would receive dozens of model requests because people thought I made the models.
  16. PM to me or the JKHub account if you want. I'll make an archive on my HD in the meantime.
  17. Yep they're there on any difficulty. There's the 2 hazard troopers that spawn, and then a rocket trooper, and then 2 more hazards I think? Right in the middle of the level.
  18. You're right, there wasn't really a plot. I think their main point was to give Maul more screen time, though in the end it ended up being no different of screen time than in the movie. Still, it's the most well-made fan film I've seen. The Spirits of the Force fan films are probably the best plot-wise in my opinion.
  19. This fan film was in production for 2 years and was finally released this week! It might be the best fan film so far. Really good choreography, post-production, and acting for a fan film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djo_91jN3Pk
